Damn man you flying on this car! One thing after another!

I'm not complaining though. It's looking great so far.

first few shots after the 6 speed swap.
Its running great and all, but a few electrical problems driving me nuts.
Window was stuck open and its been raining constantly for the past few weeks. Finally hot wired the regulator and shut it up.

It doesnt have the coilovers right now, keeping an eye out for Tein SS.

Hopefully the lipkit will go on in a month or so.

Wow your hood looks like it fits better than mine. Please more pics of the hood. And btw great job on the car, it looks great. Like what mine would look like if I had some wheels!

I also have a solution to fix that sagging shifter boot. It will fit tight up to the knob if you would like it that way.
LMK...

it doesnt fit as good as looks in the pictures. I just threw it on there quick. when i get time i'll look more into adjusting it.

as far as the shift boot goes, i'm gonna be cutting the shift rod pretty soon, and after that i'll look into the boot problem, i do have a fix for it though, all u need is a spring.

After doing a lot of adjustments and shaving, it should fit almost perfect, but i havent gotten to any of that yet.
I'm prolly not gonna get to it until i figure out all the electrical shit with this car first, which i know is gonna take a while.

like David said, that was the original plan but the way i started blowing money on this car, it wouldnt be worth it to sell it, so now i think i'm gonna keep it for ever.

thanks. it was a lot of work, pretty much not worth it since you can just go out and buy a 6 speed for a lot less than it would cost you to convert yours. if i was to pay someone to do all this "PROPERLY", it would have easily run over 5 - 6gs.

Damn thats crazy,i thought they usually use their diagnostics computer to diagnose our cars at the stealership? I hope you still figure a way to get it done tho.

Its nearly impossible to hunt down an electrical problem with the HDS. If the problem is bad enough to screw with the ECU, it definately is bad enough to screw with the HDS.

it might not work out with the big house. needs too much work. so no more 16 car drive way.
looking at another one right now.

yeah that computer can only help so much, specially when all the wires are all mixed up. i left the car with the tech early today and he called me in the afternoon saying he got the window and the sunroof to work:thumb sup:

the only thing left right now is the passenger seat not working. and the radio, which works, but no sound from the speakers, the sub is not getting any power.
which i think will work after i swap out the passenger floor harness with 03.

I finally got everything figured out!

The car is 100% functional except the ABS unit which is still from 01 Type-S.

It runs great, other than new problems popping up (not related to the swap).

Thanks a lot to David for helping me out and getting the car ready in half the time!
