this is what my CL-S looked like when I first bought it about 2 months ago.






with in a week of purchase, I had debadged the rear, cleaned the headlights, fixed most of the big dents, and mostly everything it it needed done.
since then i had worked on and off on it.

so far these are the modifications on the car:
*K&N Filter
*Magnaflow exhaust
*2" drop
*19" TenzoR GF7 w/ 245/35 tires
*Quarter panel wheel lips rolled w/ a baseball bat!
*Blacked out headlights
*03 Front bumper inserts
*NBP grille
*Gentex rear view mirror w/ compass
*XS headers




future modifications/work:
**Get the pass quarter, front and rear bumper, and trunk painted
**Remove the front license plate
**Custom Taillights
**Lights weight pulley
**10,000K HIDs
**Cold Air Intake
**Custom Bumper Inserts

***Coilover Kit
***complete catback w/ a test pipe

From what i can make out i think your ride hight is just right. in my book. i'm awaiting clear pics to give you the official car looks great stamp. minus the banned

I did take some pictures in daylight, but the SD card messed up.
It'll be a day or two before I post those pictures.

I think I'll have a photoshoot w/ this car pretty soon.

 

oh yeah, make sure you get some type of UV coating or cover for your headlights.. when you wet sand you remove all the UV protection then they'll turn even yellower.

I just painted the amber flat black from behind. it still lights up though. Will do VHT on amber on my next pair.


I was on that guy's ass to make sure he gets that lined up perfectly. even his customers were pissed off at me for making them wait for an xtra 1/2 hr. but it was worth it.

Wow, beautiful ride . Nicely balanced with the wheels and drop. How about some tint?? The black paint, dark tint and those dark silver rims would really set that car off nicely, just my .

One more thing, match that front tire up to the rest. You dont want to run different tires on different corners, my rule is always do two at a time and two of a kind. Especially on the drive wheels, tires can and do have different revs/mile and may heat and blow out. Last thing you would ever want for that slick whip. BTW, never liked those general exclaim tires, too freakin loud , the hard tread compound screams like a banshee and vibrates at high freqs. up through my firewall and that is on stock suspension. thanks man. tint's on its way. 20 on sides (may go darker) and 5 in the back. just forgot to list it on there.

the general tire should be out of there by next week and two new matching tires are coming in. The tires were used when i put them on. but it should have all 4 new tires w/ in a month.


thanks! they are also a pain in the ass because of how much they still rub and I have to slow the hell down for pot holes. and I also live around the worst area in the town

 

Wow like everyone else is saying, great progress really fast. Car is looking good!

 

HIDS went on today. They're suppose to be 10kK, but dont look like it.

will find out at night time.

Definitely noticeably more blue. I thought 10000k was almost purple though. My friend had someon his wrx.

Ur gonna run out of mods way too fast lol. I like to go slow with my car, when i get bored with it I just add another mod.

yeah, ur right. I'm already bored w/ it. Not as motivated as I was when I first got it.
I'm only planning on keeping it for a year so not going all out on it.

 

had the right quarter panel + rear painted.
also got the car buffed.

the tranny's been out for a month now.

the car's sitting at the shop w/ the tranny all opened up.




This is the clutch pack for third gear. The clutch disks were worn out to a point where the groves could barely stop a finger nail.
All the rest of the clutch packs are fine, but i'm getting them repalced just to be on the safe side.

Looks good Got any plans for the holes in the trunk from the "A" emblem? fill and re-paint maybe?

 

I regret not filling them up after repainting the trunk. But as of now, i'm planning to do black chrome A emblem and then put it on there.

 

thats what i was just about to say.. black or black chrome would be nice cars looks good man!

 

also starting a 6speed swap. should be done in a couple of weeks.
