and here is from the TL service manual actually

looks even more like you just undo the circled bolts, and the motor (16), and the sensor (17) just slide out of the actual track itself with really no disassembly needed other then getting to those bolts (which is still only like 4 bolts [along with some screws for the side panels] to take off the cushion itself, then you got the access needed

basically all i am saying is that the actual rails themselves are never taken apart, they are just replaced as an assembly

you have to take the bottom rail out in order to remove that mechanism.

Your "parents" had to pay you.
freely or because you were bicth'n ?
I see you say they learned their lesson, and that don't sound right since you live under their roof.
Leave the dam parents out of it,they were just trying to clean up after you trashing the garage with your projects.
just rambling BS man,just

That sucks, but I can't say I blame the parents for cleaning up shit, but mine would have at least asked me if I still needed it before tossing it. Of course, I haven't lived with my parents in 10 years either

Damn

You are the master of CL's haha.

Just out of curiosity, why did you swap your CL-S to manual when you could have just bought a CLS6? I'm not criticizing it or anything, just curious. Was it because you already put alot of money into customizing it or something?

I still can't wait to see this thing kitted with the rwd swap, this will be insane

y deep into it. Mostly it was done as a hobby/fun thing

my car wasnt worth shit (still isnt) and i had already repaired everything on it, made it practically running like brand new. and then some mods so yeah I was alread, but also because I already have too much in the car.

Nice. A little rule of thumb for fitment - if they clear the brakes on a 3rd gen 6MT or TL-S they will clear the RLs.

You told a while back that "the nicest buff job wouldn't help make your paint look good", lol your paint looks shiney as hell in this picture.

Wheels look great too, nice aggressive stance.

it looks good in the picture because i had just washed it then. but in real life its pretty bad. havent waxed or buff my car in over year and a half. my guy is coming at the end of the month to buff it so lets see how it comes out.

I've been drooling over the steel grey color by MB. specially on the C63. I think it looks bad ass and amazing in person.

Sides and bumper in steel grey and carbon fiber roof, trunk, and hood

Love that color. Is it more of a flat or have pearl in it?

Compliments CF really well.

not sure what kind of paint it is exactly. not flat, that's for sure.

RL calipers have been on for some time now. need to find a TL Front lip in order to start back on the lipkit project. The civic lip was way too short to even mess with. I think, while the car is at the shop, i'll weld up the brackets for the RSX seats and roll my front fenders cause they've been scraping like crazy since the new rims.

With my daily work schedule, the only way for me to find time to work on the car is by either quitting or getting fired.

Just talked to my guy and we'll pull the motor out on monday, new clutch, clean up and somewhat shine the engine bay, roll the fenders, and prolly paint the roof.

Did you get the flywheel too? The disc, pressure plate and throw out bearing retail for about $340 but can be had for about $250 online. The flywheel retails for $650 but you can get it for alittle under $500 online as well. For that price you might as well get the AASCO lightweight flywheel though. Or get a used one resurfaced if you find a shop will to do it.
