Nauman try asking a mod to delete your post cuz your plates are still showing from the vid, even though it was in Mexico. You can edit your plates out or just cut that part off and re-upload.

i think teh leak is coming from the flex pipe. havent located it yet, but i had a feeling these XS headers might go bad sooner or later. may be the R&I several times caused it. I might fix the leak temporarily, and look for a set of comptech or other brands

just get a new flex pipe welded in for now... if thats where the leak is coming from. although, xs and comptech are the only ones that will fit your 6speed.

What happened to the vid? Wanna see it.

About the leaky flex pipe: that's pretty standard for the XS brand on these cars.
Mine were loud from day one so I just header wrapped them, but if you got a full on leak and can get a new flex pipe welded in I would go with that.

When you said leak on XS I was assuming you meant from the manifold... Your lucky

Btw your car looks great man, I look at your car and visualize what mine would look like with some nice wheels. keep up the good work.

Many people have done it first. Just get a quality flex pipe and it wont rattle anymore.

PS - Broken motor mounts can put extra stress causing the flex pipe to prematurely malfunction.

True. In the back of my head, I have a really bad feeling that my car is gonna get stolen, actually bth 6 speeds. Shit
When I drove it home today, had to grab something from inside then head back out, so I left the car running, but the whole time I couldnt help but keep peeping outside to check on it. :shakehead

Calling my guy tomorrow to get the tracker system.

got tired of the AFR gauge just sitting there on my dash so i decided to mount it on the pillar. Went to home depot and picked this up for like 2 bucks.

15 mins later

Also last night, coming home and pulling up on the driveway, my right rear tire caught the bumper and popped it out half way.

When I went back and look at it, the bumper was where the redlines are. I popped it back in its position right away so the plastic doesn take that shape.

It was dark so i couldnt see a lot, but now there is a big wave on the rear part and the part around the muffler is all jacked up. and it pushed against the rear beam so there are high spots all over that part. I'll fix it all later on today.

Damn, that sucks about the bumper.

Interesting idea for the A-pillar. You gonna mold that in?

Dude, its always something... I guess if youre really enjoying it, by driving it, stuff is gonna happen!

And thanks for the offer on the tires, prob gonna wait until after October, that way I have my Merc all fixed up for the winter months... she needs an oil, air filter (so does the CL) and belt change and a lube... and minor stuff and things...

Finally installed the rsx seats, was a bitch to put the rails back on.
Note to self, don't take rails apart when they're put together for good.

The interior needs deep cleaning and so do the seats, they will be getting new covers very soon.
