car is dirty. front lip is destroyed from being so low and scraping everywhere. gonna raise it up a bit when this snow storm blizzard passes.
thats all for now

Why are the lip and bumper painted grey now? If you want performance, you should keep the drop and lose the lip instead of raise the drop and keep the lip

its flat black. never had time to paint it completely. a slammed car doesnt mean that it will preform better. with the new fmi. the intercooler sits 2" off the ground. i scrape coming out of the garage and that a really small slant.

Gotcha. That lip will not survive forever though, even if you raise it up. You should consider cutting out the middle part if you want to keep the kit long term

and actually being too low would mean you should really be slowing down for everything , where like on mine, being higher, i clear most things (i JUST fit over most curbs), i can actually drive the over things like a speed bump like a normal car, and hardly have to slow down

and lowering too much, can also screw up the suspension geometry, which greatly offsets any benefit from the lower center of gravity (let alone losing suspension travel too)

lol, I already knew that. That's why I didn't even bother getting coilovers when a perfect set of Springs and Struts will so the trick. I don't know how high he is planning to actually raise it though.

i want coilovers , mainly for the adjustability and stiffer ride/springs; less roll (personally sway bars are too stiff as is, for my current springs)

and this one spot on the highway, i can actually feel it/mine bottoming out when i do like 80-90 (speed limit 65) over it (but it is worse in the right lane though, compared to the left), so i would like at least stiffer shocks for that (but even now they are right about the right stiffness for things, because the car is very well mannered considering it's lowered actually), but then again most stock cars, with about the same speed, you can actually feel them bottom out/touch the bump stops

Wheres the inlet and outlet on that intercooler? Id look into raising that up. No offense, but it looks kinda cheap hanging out like that. Did you remove the steel bumper bar at all?

same side inlet and outlet. metal bumper is still there. only way to raise it higher is if i start cutting up the metal bumper. its really tight behind there. i really want to raise it up atleast 2-3 inches.

Remove the metal bumper. You dont need it unless you plan on hitting something

Think of the weight reduction too.

make a replacement beam, that happens to not be as tall (and it's easier since the bumper cover does not attach to it at all)

Yeah that's kind of been discouraging me a bit from going kitted.

I can't even get into the driveway right now without scraping.
