Alllllll depends on how much boost you plan on running. If you're going to boost the hell out of it then 9:1 is probably best. If you're only going to be pushing 1 bar then 9.5:1 is probably fine since you'll have forged internals, arp head studs, an intercooler and/or water/meth and probably NOS knowing you to offset some of the compression

Plus you want to have some pedal response and torque left but I guess that can be adjusted in tuning but it would have to be some damn good tuning lol

I wish my motor could handle 2 shots like that together I would be happy with out a turbo.
Your car is going to scream from lauch to finish.
spinning tires at any speed ,any rpm.
Can't wait.
Even if I was to leave azine,I would come back to see this.

I need them with the 125 dry shot. That why towards the end of this month I'm gonna hit up thr 1/4 with slicks to see what I run. So slicks and a clutch that grabs, mid to low 13's I hope

Easy. With headers cai good lightweight tires you should run high 13. With that shot i bet low 13.

I don't have headers, custom sri. Ill try to pick up some enkie rpf1's. I ran 13.8 last year with just a custom exhaust, intake resonator removed, light weight pulley, 125 or 100 dry shot, slipping clutch, wheel spin in 1st and second, bit in 3rd

Good. l0l

Personally I would run 9:1 b.c I wouldn't want to be restricted on how much boost I can run down the road, just keep your options open while you can. Ya know what I'm saying?

How many pounds are you gonna be running anyways?

Hmm, have you considered the 07 type s crank? There was talk that it would yield some gains on a stock j32, so I'd imagine it would do the same for you, no?

I was hoping you would know. l0l...
I just read about people talking about swapping it into the 32's, but now I cant find the thread...I just searched for like 10-15 minutes.

But being a slightly larger motor, I'd assume that it has to be a little bit bigger. But I'm not sure either way

I agree I would stay with in the stock lower end spec's.
just use better pistons, rods and do the crank work.Staying with the stock crank will save dough.
Pistons and rods are most important.

Top end I would blow out ,maybe some custom sized valves, cams, and some port work done to match the upgraded valves and cams needs.

I think you would need some.
Your motor will be wanting to go to higher rpm's than the stock cams go, and still be making power anyway.
Building a motor I would not skimp on the cams, pistons,or rods.
I never heard of a built motor that they did not use upgraded camshafts.
So why try to go around that ?
It will be money well spent if you are going big.
stock motor with a upgraded cam/s will yeild some power in any motor.
But turbo and nitrous with the right cams you would probally see surprising gains.

I found this shop. They said they have done the 6 cyl crank and would do it for the same 465. price. That is where my crank is going.
