The car comes together more and more man, can't even say how jealous i am of that damn lip kit! But hey, to fix your mic problem Tom, you just need something to cover it. I think you said that the mic is built in to the camera, its not separate right? Cotton should work, just something really porous to let the sound through but cut the wind.

I see ppl talking about the videos, but i cant seem to see them.
Can anyone repost or post a link. Also for a camera mic, can you extend the cable and put the mic inside the cabin?

that sucks
but the issue with cutting tips now though, is that the hot exhaust gases now expand and get blown up behind the bumper now, which is still hot enough to do the melting as seen
compared to the hot gases just going straight past the bumper (yes the heat does radiate some, but that is alot easier to say fix with a little high temp CF or something [look for CF exhaust cutout covers, some cars they do make them for]
something such as this...

and then for that front lip, get it fixed, then put some angle aluminuim or something behind it to brace it, cause probably what happened is that the wind was just pushing it down far enough for it to rub through (and it only got worse as the lip got closer to the ground, with it being pushed down further)
and then i wounder if the same thing happened to the owner that had trimmed his center section out

another way to help prevent it from happening again
DIESEL exhaust tips (for the ones with the dpf's; and i don't think scavenging a set from work would be too hard for you either )

Bummer..Just drop the exhaust slightly, i have 1/4 inch or so gap on mine and it is just fine. Tips just need to extend flush at min to keep the bumper from melting.

i had the stock tips welded on to the magnaflow. the tips were touching the lip and starting to melt it. so i cut them off. it started melting on a 45min drive home (made it in 25 lol) so there had to be so really hot exhaust gasses coming out. lesson learned

well, since my oem front sub frame was bent, i found an auto front sub frame for hella cheap but i couldnt use the ETD bc the auto sub frame didnt have the mounting plate for it. so this is what i came up with. hopefully it doesnt crack the trans
hole tapped
ETD mounted

I didnt see where he said it was a mockup
Def get two holes supporting the bracket.
If you also have the opportunity, look at adding one up near the heads. The engine acts like a pendulum as it revs, so if you support it at the end as opposed to the base, you'll substantially decrease the excess movement.
