Three Wheelin'
So yesterday I had to drive out east of Memphis about 80 miles. COUNTRY thats all I need to say about that.
Anyways, had to pick up a riding mower I purchased from a co-worker. So we put this riding mower in the back of my Tacoma. (maybe 400 lbs) Tied it down and off I went.
So i get to a stop light on this 2 lane highway and a newer Altima pulls up with a guy driving and a girl in the passenger seat. He is looking at my wheels and looks up at me and I shoot him a smile. (Hope he did not think I was gay
) He gives me the nod. Light goes green and I get the best launch I have ever had in that truck. It actually kinda startled me. I can only get to about 31 mph in first. So as I shift into second he is just behind my cab. 2nd I can get to 63 or so mph . By the end of 2nd his front bumper is a few feet from my rear. In the end I let off around 90, just about the end of third. At about 12 ft from my rear he quickly pulls up (no ricer fly by) and mouths what I think is a "Wow that's fast". I give a wave and he continues on as I slow to about 65. It was a lot of fun. As he went by I see 3.5 on the back. Made me feel that much better.
Wonder if he told anyone he lost to a Tacoma with a riding mower in the bed.
I really think my 0 to 60 mph was faster with the mower. That weight really did the rear well. I had almost no wheel slip.
Just my fun, thought I would share it anyways even though its not an Acura.

yep, e36 4 door M3. With the mods that are being implemented I'd give a modded cls-6 a pretty hard time lol. The 1st gen CL would have no problem with a full bolt on cls-6 though, that's for sure lol.

Last night, drove all the way down to "Mexico" and raced my buddy's 350z 6spd from a 60 to 140(ish) roll. Don't remember the year of his, but he said it's the only year that has the VQ35 engine? He's got intake, headers, exhaust, and many other little things done, car sounds absolutely nasty(in a good way). Also has 19/20in staggered wheels on it though that appear heavy. As far as performance goes, i'm stock when it comes to HP/TQ.(check sig). Both of us stayed even through 3rd, he slowly crept ahead by 1/4 car length thru 4th, then crept another 3/4 car length thru 5th (putting the nose of my car even with his rear bumper). Both of us on point with our shifts/shift points. I was VERY impressed actually, he was flabbergasted that the TL was that quick. I expected to lose by a couple car lengths on that one. He says that will all his mods he should be putting about 300 down. I should only be putting about 200 down. Possible that his rims could have slowed him down THAT much?

Your probably putting out around 220 (Just a very rough guesstimate), and he is probably putting down 235-250. Maybe 260, but Idk what those "little mods" he has are.

pretty impressive, considering all chips available for the 1.8T/2.0T are pretty insane. Non chipped, those run high 14's, but with an APR chip he'd be running high 13's. Is your 14.2 1/4 time in your profile updated?

i won 2 times by a bumper :P
but i lost 4 times by a car he was telling me that the car was stock but i had a/c on and two passengers with me so its should be even race then i think not bad at all

Nice. I forgot to post a kill I had awhile back.
I was heading to work one afternoon on the highway and I was in the left lane passing all the slow ruh-tards changing lanes for an interchange coming up.
There was a CRX there, grey I think (its been awhile) with one of those huge, slanted, loud exhausts. I pass him, then he speeds up. Those of you that have seen my car in person know its not loud, and its unassuming (just wheels and the cf hood which you cant see in certain light because my car is black).
He started to pace me. I didnt look over - gas is expensive
We go around a curve, him still pacing me, and he drops it down to 3rd I think at about 60mph (the thing was revving LOUD). It was definitely a VTEC B series, not sure on size though (heard the VTEC crossover and was def a DOHC). He punches it. I glance over and see him start to slowly pull away.
When he gets about 1/2 car up, I go from 6th to 4th, bring myself even with him (pedaling it), look at him and wave bye-bye. Punched it and let off somewhere around 120. He was a few cars back. I slowed down to the speed limit and he refused to pass me.
I really wish I could get some of the Subbies or EVOs in my area to go. For some reason I keep attracting the ricer crowd

yeah the only reason i raced him because i told him that it will be close but he didnt want to belive me... hehe
the otherday i raced the other member on here inspiron... with anthracite CLS6 with basicly same mods done to his car and i still was pulling on him 60-100 1/2car to 1car length and then started to pulling even more to 120 i was 1.5 car length at the front

New win guys:
raced a mid 90's benz that read 2.8 on the back, i only put 1 car on him to the top of third. We pulled over at the next light and he told me his car was "stock"...i laughed and said yea right. he replied "its a stock 5 litre V8 swap" so that made my day.

So a 07 350z with the better hr motor in it, pulls up beside me at the light and wants to run.
So we take off and i pull on him in first, then by the end of second, the rear of his car is in the front of mine and we stayed that way till about 120mph which was still in 4th...
Im so tired of 350z's trying me. i can stay with or beat the older 350's, but the newer ones are fast, but i thought i did okay...his was just lowered on 20's and 6spd, no sign of exhaust or intake mods from his car..gotta get these new tires soon because my tires just spin in 1st and second

I know the evo's and subi's dont have the best mid range-top end power, but they are still fast...i dont consider that a loss if you had 350lbs extra and still didnt get walked

Ha, I both love it and hate it when cars do that. Love it because they were put in their place and hate it because they dont have the respect to give you
On a side note I lost a new BMW X6 truck with a Dinan tag on it and also to a turbo'd G35. Both were from a roll. The X6 race wasn't even close, he put about 2-3 cars on me and looked over as he passed by as if I shouldn't even have tried. The G35 had to have a huge turbo in it because I could hear him punch it and held him off and then all of a sudden he would start reeling me in. Had some nice power.
I need some upgrades lol
