Just raced an 05 E46 M3 6mt. I've wanted to run this dumb kid for ages and I finally saw him driving today.

1st run:

We started off at 20mph and I pulled on him very slightly till I shut off at 75.

2nd run:

We started off again but this time it was 20mph to 95mph.

I had him through 75, but then he started to creep on me very slowly to 95mph.


Current mods are only Icebox and underdrive pulley, everything else I have including headers are swapped back to oem.

Sorry, but I don't believe you. Even if the E46 M3 is completely stock, a CL-S6 would have to have full bolt ons to compete unless the M3 driver was a completely inept driver.

I ran an E46 M3 6MT once as well. It was from a dig, but neither of us really launched the car. I pulled about 3 cars into 3rd-4th gear. He clearly was an inept driver. I wouldn't mind running one with a good driver though.

It seemed he was. We played around on the highway and got off at the same exit, then gave each other "the look" once stopped at the light. He was definitely on it, but short shifted 1st. Idk, either way I know I wouldn't beat an E46.

333hp and 262tq actually. in a 3400lb car.

Its just hard for me to imagine the 240-270hp CL-S or accord pulling on one of those being that they're around the same weight. Then again there are a lot of bad drivers out there lol.

those are crank figures for the m3, but i too put 2 cars on an e46. you have to factor in drive train loss is higher for RWD and my TL was fully bolted and had weight reduction.

i think jacob is full of hot air tho..

Their drivetrain loss is more, yes, but they still run mid 13s @103+. Your TL is also faster than my Accord based on the speedo vid you posted. How much weight reduction do you have done?

It definitely would. Last time I went to the track my clutch was slipping from the drive over. After a 2 hour cooldown I ran a 14.02 @ 103 .. When I hit the end of the track my car wouldn't drive in gear because my clutch was toast.

I sold it about a month ago. Let's just say I shed about 1500 lbs
