It should put down the same numbers as the tl- same motor same mods. I totaled it when I was driving on the interstate around a bend and it was wet out. My back end spun around and hit the wall.

The Accord should be putting down the same numbers, if not more being on lightweight RPF1s. Honestly, if it's putting out 290/250 the car is completely capable of 12s @108+. Considering it weighs about 3100 max, that's a nice power to weight ratio.

Those were good numbers you put down I was surprised. I'm sorry but shit happens at least the engine setup still lives on lol.

I was assuming around those numbers too if it's close to the same as it was in the tl. That seems like realistic et and trap speed. I can't wait to finish the exhaust on my car. I'm putting the headers on this weekend, then starting on the rest of it Mon since all the materials are finally in. Hopefully I can break 300whp!!

^^ What are your mods to break 300whp? And I see you ran the 6MT 335i and ended up neck and neck? Without headers or exhaust? Please explain...

Met up with chris (DaInFaMMuS1) and aaron (aaronsredtype s) out at the track last night and put in a few runs. Conditions were not the best 72 degrees,90 somethin % humidity and a 10 mph head wind. None the less it was fun.

Great time last night at the track, 1st time I've actually run at a track. I seriously need to learn how to launch though lol. Practice makes perfect, just means we gotta go more often! lol.

I will say he hasn't even driven the car for 6 hours since he bought it so I'm sure he has to get used to it completely and he said he short shifted 3rd to 4th. The only mods my car has right now is:

Custom 3.5 cold air intake, Unorthodox lightweight pulleys, P2r throttle body spacer, P2r thermal gaskets, P2r plenums, Excelerate test pipe, and Comptech mufflers.

That was copied from my build thread. I only made 246whp and 223tq so I can't wait to see what it puts down once the exhaust is finished lol. I also have a aem fic to install. Eventually depending how my car acts on the spray I might have to get a new clutch setup with a aluminum flywheel. If so that will free up some hp also since it's a lot lighter.

I ran a 13.3 at 104mph and I think chris ran a 14.6 or 14.7 at like 97mph. We only got to run twice each cause people kept blowin up there motors.

Very nice, especially in those conditions. 90% humidity is no joke. I'd imagine you'd be able to pull off 13 flat or even dip into the 12s @106ish and Chris in the lower 14s @99-100.

Kill

Another early model C5 non-Z06 Vette.

I started at his back bumper, he floored it, it kicked down a gear, I dropped it from 6th to 4th and by the end of 4th had a nose on him. He was visibly pissed.

^^ With the S/C? That seems odd he was pulling at those speeds.

I had a few runs with a 370z the other night. 6 speed with exhaust.

Im still kind of shocked about this one, it was one of my better runs too in the CL.

I was in NY yesterday, and after meeting up with Street, JBlue, and a few other people at the weekly Menlo Park meet, I hit the road on the way back to VA.

I was on the Jersey Tpke, coming up to the last rest stop where I usually fill up. Its around midnight, theres only a handful of cars on the road, I haven't seen a single cop, and Im running radar. So Im cruising around 80 in the right lane. I slowly creep up on an MB CLS-class. He's doing about 75. Its one of the newer ones, gorgeous car, especially in white. He had Delaware plates too.

I get into the left lane to pass. As soon as I get next to him, he takes off. Whatever. I get back into the right lane. He slows down to 75 again and I get closer. I get back into the left lane to pass, but I downshifted into fourth just in case he decided to do it again.

He did.

He got a slight jump, and I mean very slight. He downshifted, and that V8 sounded amazing But WTF. Im still right next to him. 85, 95, 105, still right there. 115, I gain a bit. 125, dead even. 130 or so, I have a bumper on him.

We both shut it down and pull into the rest stop together. Thats when I see the little V8 Bi-Turbo badge on the fender, accompanied with a CLS63 and AMG badge on the trunk

I tried to talk to him a bit at the station, but he was a few pumps away from me and didnt seem to want to talk at all.

I know damn well that car would destroy me from a dig. They hit 60 in less then 5s. Im also pretty sure that I would get raped at higher speeds. But WTF, 75mph to ~130, and I was dead even with him Possible badge swap? I was surprised nonetheless.

Suffice it to say, I beat him out of the gas station too

Did you guys run on US1 or did you hop on the highway? I saw you slow down behind me when we left the meet.

Sorry, went the other way

We'll do a heads up run one of these days. I was just somewhat nervous about doing a low speed punch almost 400miles from home and breaking something.

Damn Morgan, a CLS63? I would imagine him being a bit upset at the outcome. How many badge swaps do you really see though?

No one commented about my 370 run? I even had a vid

Yes they are definitely faster. We had 3 runs. The first run was not caught on camera. He pulled just over a car from 60-110ish. On the video, the 1st run I pulled over a car to 120 (Idk what happened) and the 2nd was very close. He was creeping back on me and came even at 110, and would've kept pulling had we gone any further.

I've seen them trap 101-107 bone stock. I most likely got one that was on the lower end of the spectrum. He had an exhaust and was 6 speed.

Whoops, I didnt even see your video.

Nice runs! Your car sound pretty good too

Re: badge swaps - I see them on some of the older Bimmers, I love the "M7" I see from time to time. Only reason I thought that was because I shouldnt have hung with him.

It's funny both of you guys say that. I actually rode in a benz amg c63 a couple months ago when I was up in NY, the owner of nrg tech has one. I have to say that car is very nice. If I remember correctly he said it has around 450hp stock. It's a 7 speed auto with paddle shifters. Honestly the car feels great and feels quick too so I'm surprised about that run civicdrivr. Sonnick I actually ran a 370z a few months after purchasing my car one day heading to work. We went from like 70-130mph I was ahead of him the whole time and found that funny at the time. Are cars do have me scratching my head sometimes, thinking did I really just win haha.

I know, I wish they were. Fwd isn't that bad when a using a good set of axles and slicks for drag racing. All I ever owned/own in the past was mustangs so its nice to have a change.

Nice runs. I'm most surprised by the 63 Benz. Those bad boys do mid to low 12s stock and trap about 118.
