I know I can win vs. stock, but that usually isn't the case around the OP area.
I saw that same r32 yesterday. I went into the maw to get some gas, and he was heading the other way. I feel like a one sided rivalry is growing in me...

What do you have done to your Civic to pull a S/C XRS?

Not sure what the mods were on the Si, but sounded like I/RH/E (smelled catless). Sh1tty vid below. Had 2 runs (2nd caught on tape). 1st was a 70ish roll to ~100 where I pulled 1 car. This was 65-105ish and I pulled about 2 cars. For some weird reason I really felt like he had a passenger and was also tuned (don't ask me why).

i apologize for the post. i wasn't saying i beat that car, i was explaining why the dude in the CL lost to a corolla. it may have been an XRS.

Had a couple runs with an 04 and 05 RSX-s. First run I started late and got smoked. Second run was clean and a good one.

05 RSX: I/RH/E/RBC/KPro tune (4.7FD stock)
04 RSX: I/RH/Cutout/RRC/Z1 cams (05-06 stock cams)/KPro tune (4.3FD stock)
Accord: I/PCDs/Jpipe/3" exhaust/Ported manifold with butterfly delete/Pulley

My K20Z3 put down ~250/170 at the wheels on a crappy exhaust, 70mm BDL throttle body, RBC manifold, cam, and a horrible tune.

300whp NA isn't far fetched for the K series.

230 isn't THAT easy...it takes full bolt ons and a tune to make that number, and even then it's not easy. Look at the K dynos. Most bolt on/tuned RSXs are making 220ish, same for the Si. That particular Blue RSX is real quick. Both cars had no back seats btw, and the camera car traps 102-103 consistently.

Damn that 05 RSX was puttin in work. Watching those vids really made me miss my CL, I ran a few RSX's with it. How much do you think you're putting down Sonnick? Your setup sounds very similar to Reese's.

It's hard to hear my exhaust here, that was the Camera car with a cutout. I put down 250 prior to a couple mods, but I always thought that was a little high. So I'm gonna guess the same 250, maybe 252 or so.

The blue one is real quick. I crept up a little at the top of 4th when he shifted 5th, but he finished about a car ahead. The black RSX is quick too, we were dead even til mid 4th when I started creeping.

k20z heads on k24a block have been doing this for years. Import tuner maybe 4 years ago on a k24/k20 Teggy that was like 12's fast all motor.

There are plenty of K series hatches in the 10s all motor. It takes a fully built K20/K24 to surpass 300, but that's a he11 of a lot of power for an all motor 4cyl.

Idk if I mentioned but the 05 in the vid is making 228/160 and the 04 224/160. The shorter final drive of the 05 was most of the difference here, considering they are making almost identical power. Like I said, the camera car trapped 102-103 consistently, so the Blue S is most likely a solid 104mph car. I was content with the results considering we all had similar mods (I/Full exhaust/manifold) and I'm untuned. Hopefully after I'm tuned we will get a couple more runs in.

Since were talking about K's I thought I would share this run I had with a i/rh/e crx with k pro untuned. I think he said it put like 210 to the wheels.

Another loss:

Reese8789's Accord. Ran twice from a 40 roll, I lost by a good 2 cars both times. Makes sense considering my car runs mid to low 14's and his runs low 13's. What's crazy is that I lost worse to Reese than I did a new Camaro SS. I was hanging right on the Camaro's bumper but Reese just consistently pulled.

Nice run Reese!

But Im guessing the guy in CRX couldnt launch. With the claimed power, he should be running high 12s.

Infamuus that's not bad considering Reese's car is real quick. New Camaro SS? They trap like 108 stock. What starting speed? As far as tuning, I heard NepTune may have something in the works. So hopefully them.

Civic, I think that was a 1st gear roll. Reese correct me if I'm wrong. That's a really good kill though, car is fast.

Yea the new SS. Started at around 60 to 140. He pulled up to where my front bumper was at his rear bumper and it stayed like that till we let off.

Even he was surprised, he pulled up next to me after and asked how much power I was making because he thought he was gonna walk away from me. Personally I just think he couldn't drive or was just getting used to his car lol. He was probably in the wrong gear.

Doughtnuts

I played with another Benz tonight. It was an older model, early 2000s I think, an E430. We did a few little 70-100 pulls. I would get about 1 or 2 lengths on him then had to back out of it because Im rolling on snow tires at the moment

I only got them because of the two or three blizzards we had in 09-10. And just my luck, no snow since then!

It was not an XRS or GTS, it was a simple "CE".

I may have been easier at the throttle than I should have been, but the local news was blabbing about a Porsche and an Aston going at it in the same area, with police on scene. Up here, its a "stunt driving" ticket, large fine and a 7 day impound + increased insurance costs and points on license if you get caught. (The Aston got caught twice in the same area doing 140 and 160km/h)

...probably just making excuses...

Had a little fun with a Ferrari F430 Convertible... too bad the driver was a tad bit p. whipped by his lady in the passenger seat, we only got up to 115km/h before he backed off ... was blaring all the way

It wasn't really a race, just more of a "watch me floor it a few times" deal... still fun though :P
