What do you have done to the car since the last time you drag raced ? 3psi isnt that hard to launch but 6psi is different story lol.

How loud is your exhaust without cat ? Im still not sure if i should do 3" with car or without one. I do not want any kind of smell in my car.

If you don't want any smell, you can't go catless. I rarely smell it, but I do at times. If anything, do 3" with a 3" Magnaflow cat after the collector. I'd recommend a custom 3" collector though to mate to the 3" exhaust if you decide to go that route.

I've since finished my 3" exhaust with the merge collector and custom Jpipe. I also got a new clutch, will be removing the check valve (hopefully) and will be getting the tranny mount/tq damper installed. << Hopefully!!

On call for the loss...and win

Recent kills were a new grand prix gxp and some new benz. Loss to a new corvette from a roll. This was in the jeep. Would've been nice to see how the cl ran against the vette

It looks like a C5. The lowest model had a 345hp 5.7l in it. Ive beaten one of those before I did the 80mm TB and 2.5" exhaust. From a roll they aren't all that quick.

Today at the traffic lights i was right behind M5 it was stick. I felt he is gonna punch it because i was following him for a bit. From like 20mph he punched it and i was able to keep up with him up to like 100mph then he start pulling away and my girlfriend started to whine too lol. Im surprised. One thing he was either poor driver or he didnt step on it all the way. IIRC there is a sport button in the M5 that activate that 508HP map maybe he didnt turn it on. Anyway thats a good feeling

Murdered a new (stock rs) Camaro on the way home today, and by murder I mean using Nitrous to add salt to the wound..
He looked at me funny, in the "look at you ,you think your all that in your actually modded acura unlike the civics with fartcans" look..
Came up on me fast, looked at me, then punched it and went ahead about 8-9 car lengths then slowed down and waited on me to catch up since i never brown cruise during his shenanigans, I'm sure he didn't like it when I left his ass fast while giving him the thumbs down out the window.... Poor little spoiled white kid with his typical oakleys on got his feeling hurt.
I love this 3.5 engine now, it makes the stock 3.2 seem like a d16y6,lol.

Even driving my sisters 08 TL-S6 or my brothers 08 Accord V6-6 feels slow in comparison.

Damn, really? That's crazy. Although you do have about 30-40whp and -200+lbs on the TL-s.

civicdrivr: yeah my mom has the SH-AWD and I honestly think I could pull on it from a roll. AWD would kill off the line but I will dominate 2nd gear.
my cl is faster 0-100 than my accord with h22a 10psi was...

Really quick, in your sig it says a 12.91 at 106mph, how is that possible in the CL-S? and at only 106 since you wont get hte best 60 with the fwd CL?

So I finally got to run a CL-S today since I got rid of mine. Ran into a silver CL-S with tinted windows and big chrome 19's. I saw him weaving through traffic in my rearview around 10pm last night. We hit a light in a wide open area and he had his windows down and kept creeping up. So I figured what the hell, the road is a 55mph road and I never race on public roads past 65mph.

This was an 03 and looked like a manual with how it was rocking back and forth when he rolled up to me.

Anyways, this isnt much of a race but once the light changed I brake boosted to about 3k rpms and by about 30mph I was probably 1.5 car lengths and by 60 I was probably 3 cars.

Oh well, he probably didn't have any performance mods so I wasnt expecting much.

Still miss the CL-S!

According to Acura, the 03 CL-S6 weighs 3446lbs - the same as the 08 Accord V6-6 and the TL-S6 is 3559.

Pits - IIRC the 12.9 run wasnt on street tires. Hes also an automatic and those are much more consistent plus easier to launch compared to the 6MT.

^^ I thought the TL-s was a little heavier than that. So seems about right your car would be that much quicker. When you gonna take it to the track? Take off Sunday. I dare you.

Street I've seen most put down around 245-255.

Yea, Ive seen about the same whp out of the TL-S'. The 8G Accord V6-6 puts down ~240-245 at the wheels. The 8G Accord also has a shorter final drive (3.55 vs 3.28), but I believe it's negated by the taller tires since it seems to rev around the same as my CL at 80.

Id love to take off from work and go to the track (especially since I do have to go up to NY), but Ive already committed to covering those calls and need the hours.

Im going to NY the first week of November though, but I doubt theres anything going on at the track then

Let me know when you come up I may be down to go to the track again. The GF will be pissed, but what can you do lol. I'm not gonna promise that I'll come, but at least let me know and I will see what I can do.

I wish the 8G Accord FD would fit in our tranny. A 3.55 would shorten our gears a decent amount.
