What about a full assembly with heads and accessories.

I may need to give ya a call for some parts here soon.

that's about right, acuraautomotiveparts.org shows it for 1350.00 and heads for 1050.00 each. but the other years, 01-02 are different prices, more acually.

then add the intake manifold, cam gears, throttle body, valve covers, valve cover hardware, yes those are expensive, 2 injector bases, injectors, hardware for those injector bases, the list goes on, uh-oh, now your up another thou.

Yeah, I've seen it. I can't believe they sell AW for $550 (I paid $300 last summer). The strange thing is people getting mixed results with fitment. Some intsalled fine and for others including myself it didn't work. So CT is the only solution at $1100 too pricy IMO but I have no choice.

I'm pretty sure I mistaken 1440 CLS block price with 03 MDX block Acura Carland sells for $1921.48. Someone asked me about it, sorry about that.

I heard there is a guy who selling full assembly USED (25K mi) CLS heads for $700. As far as completely NEW heads I'll ask on Monday along with double checking the NEW CLS 6MT block.

And I've got excellent condition USED (27k mi) CLS heads + upper/lower manifold $850 shipped.

Steve, PM sent.

CT isnt the only choice, I have had the 3rd gen Stone headers for about 8 months with no problems at all. Now they have the 4th gen shipping out, so you may check those out.

you also have obx, etc., etc.
But 02AV6 wanted something he could count on perfect fitment, since all the other headers have had fitment issues for at least one person that I know of.

Honestly... with everything else that is on that car... all top quality parts, I wouldn't want anything other than Comptech on the car.

You should have them sent out to Jet Hot before you install them.

very true, but not everyone has an extra $800 for headers that provide the same hp increase - but more power to you if you do cause I would get Comptech also if I had the money for that

with all that work, wont you make as much just going with a 3.5 and supercharging. Or my personal favorite was the all motot turbo setup. I think the turbo would have been cheaper and netted more gains. But with that setup, the car should behave a little better and be more reliable.

3.5 came to mind only after I ordered the internals. .3-.4L difference can be easily substitute with extra # of boost and turbo was not available when I started. Who knows maybe turbo will be on the future list if I decide to continue.

BTW, I just spoke to my bro buddy who's going to install supercharger on his BMW 328i (less then 3200lbs) with IC 8psi costing $10K + installation. And in the spring we're going to line up together at the track and try to capture on video. Also, my friend with stock M5 with good tires wants to run me , so there will be a lot of fun soon .

Yes I did receive it , thanks
I forward the pic to my installer and since I'll pick up my ride on Tuesday he's going to remove my axles and compare with your pic. Despite the fact AV6 and CLS have different part # as I checked, the shop believes they (axles) look the same. I'll let you know

DYNO as soon as I break-in first 1000 mi (weather permitting)
TRACK opens up in April

Plus I'll be ready with custom axles, Rotora BBK and bring BFG DR on the track.

I agree as well, very nice setup.. Once it starts getting warmer i'm planning on going mod crazy.. I have the CT headers and icebox installed so far, and CT s/c sitting waiting for install, but maybe i'll change out for something else before i get it installed. I think i might buy another block and build from that. 3.5L or 3.2? AV6 keep the numbers to all the places for the motor work handy, i'll be asking for them soon based on what kinda feedback you give. I can't wait to see some #'s, lemme know when your going to the track and what track your going to, cause i'll make sure i make a trip to see you run, and run myself.

As far as track - 'Great Lakes Dragaway' Union Grove, WI is where I usually go, however would like to try very sticky Rt. 66 by Joliet, IL. First week of April tracks are open (weather permitting) and we can work something up . Bunch of other cars might join as well.

Almost...but not yet. After the installation of lower control arms(driver side is bad so I'm replacing both), upper control arms(camber kit), re-install the Comptech springs, new injectors, fix oil leak, install fuel pressure gauge and finally tuning...then maybe I can enjoy the car. We have every thing but the gauge so when that arrives hopefully all can be done at one time. These things do take more time and money then we anticipate at times(I'm sure your very aware of that). Best to you and your ride.
