I have another suggestion. How about a DOHC head for the J32?

I had explored the idea of using a C32 head (from the NSX) on our J32, but it turned out that it requires extensive modifcations. And while I'm sure there will be benefits, the cost/benefit ratio just didn't add up.

But if you could research the idea of using a DOHC head on our engines that will be a direct bolt-on, that'd be sweet. Let me know what you think.

My own. I have been mulling over various designs and have an idea on what might work. In fact, I am very eager to get started on it.

If what I think will work pans out, I expect it to run in the $300 range. But it could be more depending on how another potential supporting item works out.

Nothing really other than my own vehicle. I plan on showcasing many parts on my car but that will be it for promotions for the imediate future. But things may change down the road.

I know it's been said, but after having my tranny replaced this would be #1.

"providing electronic items which will provide enhanced shifting on the 5AT"

The new ECM . . . well sucks . . it shifts like a grandmothers car now . . :whatbish:

Then of course . . . RES

I find this so odd. After having mine replaced it shifts much more firm. Especially from 2->3. Much better than the 1st transmission. I'm 100% satisfied with the new programing of the tranny.

J30A1 and J32A1 Intake Enhancments	11/1/2004	1/1/2005
Great! Now we all we need is the price for each and start putting away the coins to get some of these goodies.

2-3 shifts . . ok . . it feels firmer because of the delay programed in to it so when it does shift it seems to hit harder . . . that's per our resident tranny expert EricL.

1-2 is what really stinks. I used to chirp the tires, not that it was improtant, but the 1-2 shift is sooo soft you don't even feel it. However, when cold it does shift much harder, but when it's warmed up . . . well

Well it is doing a really good job of fooling me then because I actually think it is faster. No slipping at all either.

On my first tranny I would chirp the stock tires on the 1->2 shift. Then I got my Conti's and that went away.

When I'm not WOT I don't notice the 1->2 shift hardly. But when i'm on the go pedal I can feel it for sure.

After the 2nd transmission no chirp still. Then I got headers and the chirp is back from time to time. My track times with the 2nd tranny are very very good with I/H/E (14.2@98.5). I'm still satisfied.

Well, I can just hope that it just needs time to relearn my driving habit :P I do have previous 1/4 times so I'll be able to see if I can still pull 14.5s . . . with just the icebox . . . so with RES and maybe one other mod from Scalbert I'm hoping to get in to the 13s!

Oh, sorry, right . . back on the subject at hand . . . go Scalbert

BTW - I didn't see your cooling mod listed on the site.

Is there any possibility of a front mount IC for the comptech s/c?? I am definately getting an IC, just wondering if any plans for a front mount are going on?

I pulled 14.5 with just the icebox as well.

Things are going to get very interesting for us in the next 6 months.

Everyone on the board is excited scalbert. Can't wait!

No, unlike a turbo where it can flow excess air until full boost is reached. The SC in the Comptech kit is fixed in flow and volume. Adding the piping nessesary to run a FMIC would increase the total system volume considerably and significantly decrease SC response.

The IC designed to serve the purpose not for looks. With SC setup this IS the way. With turbo applications it goes on the front.

Hey nobody will know you've got SC with IC untill it too late

p.s. oops didn't see Steve already answered.

I'll see what I can do. I'm waiting on hearing from GReddy about setting up a distributorship primarily for the e-Manage. I haven't heard back yet and was going to touch base this week. The response will determine what I can supply at what prices.

What's your plan for the J32A1 intake?
Check the feasibility on using the A2 manifold, etc with changes.

Good gravy, Steve!! You are taking a giant step for the rest of us.

So, any truth to the rumor that you need the approval of the President and the CEO for each project?

Actually they have been re-appointed to different positions by the board members. I needed more flexibility in decision making matters while retaining their input and knowledge

Meet our new Vice President of Engineering:

And the VP of Marketing:

Just arriving for work; they work long hours beginning at dawn:

This last one was taken at a recent conference we held at the beach:
