Got my Springs Installed (Pics)

Well, after months of debating, I finally ordered and had my springs installed. I decided on H&R Sport Springs because I wanted an aggresive look, yet I didn't want to look slammed. So here are the pics.

Before:
<img src=http://images.fotki.com/photos/1/11892/44754/before2-vi.jpg?1003009629>

After:
<img src=http://images.fotki.com/photos/1/11892/44754/After3-vi.jpg?1003009665>

More pics are
here.

I love how the car feels when I'm sitting in it. I feel so much more stable being lower to the ground... and that's not even when I'm moving. Cornering ability is improved, but not as much of a difference as with the sway bars.

Oh.. and I also finally had my Goodridge Brake Lines put on. I paid $95 to have them installed. Did I get ripped off?

Here is a pic of the old brake lines:
<img src=http://images.fotki.com/photos/1/11892/44754/StockBrakeLines-vi.jpg?1003009722>

Unfortunately, I can't say that I feel any difference in how the brakes feel. I guess they are better than the stocks from the safety point of view, so I'm not totally disappointed.

Hey Sid., its about time you joined to H&R Club! You must carve up the corners with your springs & sways.

I am going to get it aligned sometime next week. They didn't align it b/c the guy who does that wasn't in on Friday.

As far as the HID's, I think they are good as they are. I'm not blinding anyone and I can see the road at night, so I think they are ok.

You bet... although I haven't really pushed the limits yet. I just want to take it easy for a few days to make sure everything is settled. I would hate to take a corner really hard and have a spring fly out. :p

I just got my CL, and was planning to get Comptech springs, but yours are great. It doesn't look too low, but it will surely help the handling. Very nice man!

uummmmm.... what happened to the ZEALs???

why would you get the H&R's??? I mean... their nice and everything, but your TLS is supposed to be a showcar! Get something adjustable or at least something a little dramatic. C'mon now.

I don't know yet... I think I'm gonna let the coolness of the springs wear off before I sink anymore money into the car.

I may do the shock sensor soon though. Might as well protect my investment.

But next on the list (down the road a bit) are:
Sticky tires
Headers

If you want more pics, let me know. I'd be happy to take some from different angles to help you make your decision. It took me a long time before I made up my mind.

Looks really nice! Did you happen to measure the drop front & rear? Be sure to let us know what the alignment indicates.. Again nice!

I haven't had the car aligned yet, so I don't know whether it can be aligned perfectly or not.

I didn't measure the actual drop because I was too lazy, but I can measure how it sits now. I would assume that the stock measurements are the same (or at least close) on all CL-S', so we can get an idea of how big the drop actually was. Does anyone have the stock measurements? I think they were posted here at sometime before.
