Nice progress. I know it takes time to build a motor. Took me a year to build my B series and it drove me nuts. Do you have any idea when this motor might be finished? Spring of '11 maybe?

I can't wait to see this thing on the dyno. K is the future.

Yeah i know how the waiting game goes, October 29th will make a whole year since I've driven my CL because of building the engine. It'll all be worth it in the end though. You're making great progress bro

thats the exact same thing I used when I painted my gray plastics around the seat black. Same color and everything. The only thing I did different is I used the SEM scuff & clean part number 38338 before the prep

Kumar, did you have any issues with the paint sticking to the door handles, did they come out tacky feeling?

If you are talking about the leather inserts behind the door handle they are just held on with bendable tabs, you bend them up to take it off and then when you put it back on you just bend them back down

but wait, i think i paid like $150-&170 for the paint and prep... other then the door lining i did the steering wheel area, the panel below the steering wheel and the center arm rest... i washed them first, dried it then used the prep. if the prep doesnt dry correctly, that means grease or armoral is there... repeat steps then paint. you'll be good!

ahh ok, I thought you just bought what you was showing. I was going to say......
I got the exact same thing except I got the SEM 38338 Scuff & X Clean as well and it was nowhere near that much. I couldn't find it anywhere near me so I just got mine off line

what you are suppose to do is... use soap to clean it off... use dishsoap cause it cuts down grease... and then let it dry... and then prep and then paint

minor update: from what i think, us cl owners need to get the rear knuckles/spindles from an accord (94-45?) in order for us to be able to put the prelude hub/bearing assembly on. my mechanic got a set and just waiting for them to be ready.

the 5 lug conversion seemed cheap to me, boy was i wrong. im almost touching $800.

OUCH.
