oh: rsx steering wheel and avic d3 went in this week...

 

dude! I want to get an rsx wheel so bad i always see them for sale lol. Does the airbag still deploy or no? The only reason keepin me from buying it is not knowing if it will go off if i ever crashed lol. whats avic d3? btw

 

Depends for the RSX airbag, most are dual stage, but I think it depends on the year

 

avic d3 is a double din dvd/cd/gps/bluetooth radio...

correct it is a dual stage bag. basically low power and high. i opted to use the high power one so if i get into a smaller crash it wont deploy...

 

Interesting, I didn't realize you could choose one or the other without swapping SRS modules

 

from what i understand, the rsx module will determine if its a slow speed impact or fast. according to that, it will determine how fast the bag deploys. on our cl, its pretty much fixed...

id be suprised if the airbag works. i dont know how different the EP3 one is then the RSX but my EP3 wheel wiring doesnt plug in.

matt: i have the harness from a rsx that i de-pinned and plugged it up...

and yes, i have a f tranny with a pro street flywheel and act clutch. i am still putting a list with pricing together... big items i wont be shipping (ie: motor & tranny)
