Switching Transmissions

I have a 98 2.3 CL automatic, I want a manual. How much would it be to switch over to a manual? Is this one of those things to just forget about because it'd be too much?

its not worth it to just swap trannies, it would be cheaper just find a 5sp CL. Or you could do an engine swap.

well I priced out a conversion Auto > Manual for a 1998 3.0..

Dealer cost is about $4000.00 plus a day or two labor!!! OUCH!
I owuld pend double that and get a type-s 6-speed if it were possible!

I just dropped my automatic 2.2 off yesterday to get converted to a 5 speed. Its gonna cost $1800. Thats with a 96 accord ex tranny... I need to get a new clutch for it too... Any recommendations, ACT or just a stock clutch?

you may as well do a stage 1 or 2 clutch with a light weight flywheel while you have it all torn apart.

I think that they are the exact same. I'm getting an ACT racing clutch and topspeed short throw shifter with it too...
