I've got a starter going "bad." I don't know if i should get a new one for like 200-300 or go with somethin else. Please help me! Has anyone had this problem?? If so what was your solution. Thanks.

 

If you have a starter going bad you obviously need another one, I dont think there are any other options.

 

I assume that "something else" would refer to used or aftermarket.

It's generally considered bad Kharma to buy used starters. The local parts store could probably hook you up with a less expensiver starter, but it wouldn't be "genuine Acura".

I don't know about the ones through the dealer, but most starters being sold are rebuilt just like they do with alternators.
