No A/C after starter replacement
My TL has never had any A/C issues until just last week. My Father-in-law replaced the starter that went bad 2 days before he sold it to me, then he parked it, as he picked up his TLX (Which is awesome, btw) and I got the TL when I came home from vacation. Since then, the AC doesn't work. When I press the a/c on/off button it displays it on the screen, but the compressor doesn't engage. The fan does kick on though. I cant seem to find anything about whats going on (sticking relay, blown fuse?) And I've done the climate control self diagnosis, which told me nothing.
Any ideas? I'd like to have a/c again.

I don't see any connection between replacing a starter and having your AC go bad but who knows what got knocked or just a coincidence. Anyway have a look at this thread.

Since you said your fans come on when you turn on the AC it sounds like there's a problem energizing the compressor clutch. The referenced thread has the fuse to check, how to jumper the clutch relay as a test, etc.

Well, looks like my compressor clutch is shot. Fan works, and with the relay jumpered- and getting power-compressor clutch doesn't engage. Looks like the compressor and starter just so happened to fail at the same time. Thank you anyway sir!
