driver side bearing is pretty noisy...and my cv boot ripped or something...grease all over my rims.

My abs light is on too. Probably just some sensor... Fix that after.

Car is almost in winter mode now. Took the side skirts off and put my stock rims back on. Just need to raise it....eventually.

I paid close to $300 for a pack of cig's this week. The store is literally 5 blocks,lucky me,got pulled for having a headlight out.($54 fine,thought I needed a bulb so I ebayed some a couple day's prior) I just ran out the house and also forgot my license.($180 fine) topped off with a nice tint ticket($50+).

To make matter's worse I ordered a replacement ballast (cheap ebay one blew) for my fogs and replacement BULB'S for the headlight.I got 5k,6k,8k replacement's
headlight's/fog's and a spare fog ballast.I spent all morning before work ripping off my bumper, trying to get her up to par again
Guess what??!! It's the F'in ballast or igniter that's shot in the headlight!!!

I hate buying the wrong shit,or doing something just to find out you'll be doing the EXACT SAME SHIT in the very near future due to Murphy's Law.........

I'd say H22 is 2800 with USDM h22 and everything else u need. Stock engine swap would be cheaper at like maybe 700 but since you're gonna pull the engine, why not go all out?

are you mechanically inclined? if so you can get a crate engine, and install it yourself or w/ some buddies.. i helped my friend to a h22 swap in a prelude, the hardest part was with the wiring... i was just pretty much there for the heavy stuff, that project was way above my head got it finished in a few days though.

haha, for real. That's kinda the point of this thread right? This is (correct me if I'm wrong) largest thread in the 1st gen forum that we have all come to love. I remember just a few months ago when Klepto made this thread since it was getting so quiet. I'd rather have rambling then barely any posts at all. But then again, I'm not a mod so I wouldn't know. I also think blackack does a great job running the 1st gen forum. This has got to be my favorite forum that I have ever joined.

Anyway, my VANS JDM amber spray just came in after work. Now I'm waiting for the DEPO headlights and HID kits. Hopefuly Monday.

Just tryin to keep things cool in here, to me racing a kia isn't anything to brag about, however you're right, klepto started this thread for random discussion, personally talking about racing in CL's makes me laugh, but we really should have a seperate race thread for 1G CL racing, cuz those debates really go off in random directions, especially in this thread. But really, there's a street encounters/racing forum for such things and that's where that stuff belongs, not in here. Anyhow, keep this thread at least somewhat on topic please, it's become nothing but a whorefest anymore
