so i finally installed my HID's today, got the 4300k ones cuz i just wanted them just to be white, after a little difficulty i got them working and kept them on for like 10 mins, but after that when i looked at them they looked like they had a little yellow tinge to them, but then i turned them off and my DRL's came back on, and they looked orange, so i think i just fucked up my eyes by looking at the HID's so much, I'm gonna see what they look like tonight tho and possibly buy some other K bulbs if they still look yellowish

I always thought 6k was a sweet crystal white. Any more than that turns a little blue and anything below that looks like silverstars. When I get my D2S HID kit, I'll probably get some 6ks.

^ya my buddy has the same kit with the 6k's and it looks a little blue, so maybe i should get the same, i have no idea how to judge for the colors and stuff, my previous car had stock xenons and projectors, but they were burning out after a few months of me owning the car, so they turned pretty blue after a while, well at least they looked blue but the light they projected onto the road was pretty white and i think they were the stock bulbs, and stocks are 4300k i believe

haha oh man. yeah, 6k are the super white ones. i think under 5k is starting to be yellow. maybe you can trade them in, and say they are defective gg.

ummm i dunno bout trading them, as i bought them online, and were shipped from china, but i might talk to them, as on the sight they list 4300k as just white, but i was thinking bout buying a couple other bulbs with different k's so i sould swap em out when i want. i just don't want anything blue cuz i don't really like tickets

^ i got the 9006 HID conversion kit with 4300k bulbs from www.vvme.com, in the HID thread awhile back someone recommended the site as their gf or something has had them working for over a year. they seem fine for the price, takes about 2 weeks after ordering as they are shipped with a tracking number direct from china. if you got any other questions or anything you can shoot me a PM
