Meh, CF wrapping the backing like blackack would look sweet but I don't know about the blackhousing piece. Try it though, who knows? I'm sure it won't make it look bad.

The 1st gen board is so quiet today!

^especially japanese?, i would think they are one of the best for the least amount of depreciation, i'd say buying a new domestic is a huge waste of money, especially companies like caddilac, their cars lose half their value sometimes in two years

hahahahahahahahaha the Acura Dealership wants 150 for labor and 150 for a window regulator..hahahahahahahaha

and the crazy thing about it...is that I'm actually letting them do that.

Why? Cause It's not my fault it's broken.

yes i know that.
so when you buy a 2 year old honda or a new honda...the price gap can be significant yet the cars are both brand new pretty much. for example

in canada you can buy the new Civic SI for 27k + tax new
or 21-22 used with 50,000 km. whats 50000km for a honda? nothing.
for a GM thats 1/4 of its lifetime.

Haha, My passenger window reg is stuck up. (thank god its stuck all the way up) Gotta get a new one when I get my next paycheck. I'm not really in a hurry to install it cuz I don't lower the passenger window at this time of the year anyway. It will be my second passenger reg.

yeah i know the parts only $40+.. This'll be my 3rd regulator on my drivers side door. The part guy told me it was 158 bucks and I actually laughed and then realized I wasnt paying for it anyway. My window regulator was already broken and I was going to pay for it to get fixed at my shop I got it done at last time. But when I went on the auto train I told them NOT to open my drivers side window because it was broken..and whatd they do? opened it. So I complained cause I was going to drive 4 and half hours with my window cracked. They offered to pay for it, so I got a sheet and everything that I have to fax to them with the receipt and theyll reimburse me. Fortunately it eventually went up and I got a free regulator out of it.

Chris, I'll be up your way tomorrow for my appt. @ Baierl. They said it'll take 2 hours.

That's what the whole electrical issue was? damn.. fuckin stealarships..

btw, my mom hit one of those construction barrels on one of the trips to El Paso in the new Odyssey and broke the fog light bracket. Honda wanted $500+ for the part and labor.. The part was $180 on hondaautomotiveparts.com! I suggested that they get the part and I'll install it for them as a Christmas present to them, but they don't trust me.. I've taken off my bumper numerous amount of times and am retrofitting a set of lights and they don't trust me installing a little fog light bracket? *sigh* their loss if they end up taking it in..

i gotta see what the prices are at acura for a window reg up here, cuz i need one and the ones that'll ship to canada on ebay are pretty expensive, so i might aswell go with a brand new one right from acura anyways, and my brother gets a discount.
Also he should be picking up my blower motor and my block heater today, so i can get that new blower motor in hopefully today or tmrw and drop the car off at my mechanic for the block heater to be installed. So much stupid things i have to buy right now for the car, right around christmas, school tests, plus still no income for quite a while

Yeah, Like taking out the oem resonator box. The problem is, no matter how carefull I was with my clips, I broke 2 of them.. I would be in deep shit if I broke one of the new van's clips.. Then again, since everything is all new, the clips won't be all briddle like mine were.

hondaautomotiveparts.com $189 + $21 spipping = $210

haha, but seriously just take off the fender lining with a flat head. its real simple, i did it for my accord to get to the headlights, the fogs are right underneath.
just take it off and show your parents that its simple, and to let you do it.
