Yeah, I know how to do it but my parents know that last time I took off the fender well for my car, I broke clips. Like I said, hopefuly since they are new clips they will come off easier. Was it that way for your Accord? (easier than the cl if you know what I mean)

yeah the accord is REAL easy. i forget if its my car or the 350z, but all you do is push the button in on the clip with a pointy object like a screw driver. and it pops right out.

even if you broke a clip you could grab one from your local parts store for like 25 cents..

What setup are you goin with for your retrofit?

Haha, yeah, I was thinking of buying some backups just incase I do brake one and they would never know.

DEPO blackhoused headlights with oem clear lens swap. TSX projectors (should come in tomorrow or the day after ) Just ordered some crossfire shrouds that I might paint black with a vinyal backing since the minigun shrouds are way to effing huge. 9006/9005 HID highbeam conversion. Not quite sure what D2S HID kit I'm gonna get. Probably a cheap one unless blackack hooks me up.

Naw, the DEPO headlight housing I got came a 9006 HID kit. I'll post pics later. So I'm going to do the 9006->9005 mod and use them as my high beams. The D2S HID kit that I still need will be for the low beam projos. Bi-Xenon for the D2S projos would be pretty cool though.. But they are alot more expensive.

^ i want to use an HID kit for my highbeams, but i've heard that it would be really hard on the ballasts/bulbs if you "flash" ppl your highbeams and stuff, so then they will have a very reduced lifespan. But you can try it out and let me know how it goes

^ it's just on the highways that i flash people that won't move to the right, that's the only time i would use it really. and now for a n00b question, the bulbs that the highbeams use are also my DRL's, so when i switch from DRL to highbeams does it just tilt the bulb or something?

todays going to be a very long day for my car..actually this week is going to be a very long week for my car. Just got the regulator changed even though they said it was fine and worked, i wanted a new one in there for the warranty. Then when they were putting the new one in, they scratched my tint..so I have to go back thursday and they're getting their tint guy to re-do my tint. While thats happening they're giving me an 08 TSX or TL for a loaner. Right now my car is at my mechanic's getting some work done. Then off to the paint shop tomorrow for some more shit.

Fun week eh? syke.

if you have the canadian CL, then don't switch to hid high beams. because the drl's run half the voltage to the highbeams for DRL, half voltage will not work on hids and could damage the system.

someone give me some tires PLEASSEEE! I've nearly died like 22 times driving in this shitty PA weather with tires that have the metal belts sticking out of them! Tonight was just ridiculous though, I also have no heat thus no defroster to melt the ice that kept forming on my windshield and wipers. Now that was surely a fun time

Car needs Tires, Heater core, wipers, an inspection sticker, a header gasket, an oil change, and definitely a damn tune. Anyone wanna buy it? lol.

anyone ever try measuring checking if the dimensions of our rear bumper is similar to the 03 tl? or anything else? how hard could it be, if you found another car with similar dimensions to adapt another rear lip on?

^ yeah i know that, i was just curious to see if anyone knew if any other cars were similar. i mean most cars do have a similar structure for the rear lip fitment. im sure you could adapt one to fit.

I did absolutely nothing today at work. Gosh this is f'ing boring.

The other night I was driving out to Dallas to pick up some goodies and the freeway was iced over for miles! I saw literally about 20 accidents, a few cars facing me on the freeway, and 18 wheeler stuck spinning tires going up on an overpass, my rear end came out like 6 times, it was just chaotic. Luckily getting my pipe was easier as I didn't drive to downtown. Took the side streets all the way home.
