Soo..today was a shittttty day. Everything went horrible, but atleast i found out that my car insurance is going down and i get to go back on my parents insurance soon. Which will be perfect since they're like perfect drivers and have a clean record. Which meannsssss, I'll be looking at a new car around April. Hopefully right before I come home from break so I can roll home in a new car..hopefully that all works out!

and for those that care, my insurance dropped from 240 a month, to right now 97. Starting Jan I'll pay around 150 then it drops more after a couple months. Whatever, a lot better than 240 a month!

You make a good point Matt, the obscure platforms are always fun to surprise everyone with. Idk, just really dislike the egg shaped EP3 though. You're the one buying it though so my opinion doesn't matter. Before you trade your CL in you better switch some parts with me though! For a bit of cash added on of course lol

Gnate, i'll see what i can do about the video. I don't have real access to a camera or cameraphone that i can just make the video.
dude, you must have a raced a really crappy driver or your car is a freak. I'll give it to both. You do have some serious mods such as the IM, TB, Cam Gears etc.
the 0.1L displacement doesnt mean fuck all in my books.

bottom line, RSX-S, Civic SI is the future of honda tuning. H series are no longer king IMO. way too hard to make N/A power.

I agree with you on that one Dicorp, Kseries motors are the future of Honda tuning. I wish it was easy to stick a k24 in a 1st gen.

Isn't there a mount kit for the accords?

I thought I heard Hasport had one... I know I saw one of the newest civics with a K24 bolted in on what were I'm pretty sure Hasport mounts... I'm pretty sure Hasport is making mount kits for anything that Skunk2 put a K24 in... And that number of cars seems to be growing...

I thought Hasport does too, but not according to their website, but I bet the prelude ones would work, considering the h22 bolts right up to the accord mounts

Not so sure on the prelude ones working for the CL.
those mounts are for the BB1/2/4 chassis only...a lot of BB6 owners have complained about a lack of kit for their cars...apparently there are fitment issues with those if not used on the intended car.

I'd jump on a K24 swap in a heartbeat if I had the money to do it.

just looked it up cuz i always forget the engine codes etc for his car, he's switched engines too many times

le sigh, i should have looked deeper into the engine before i bought it.
but the exhaust manifold is not removeable, its mated to the block. so turbo is pretty much impossible.

Damn... What was the price difference between the 4 and the 6 cyl? I'm just curious, I'd so rip a j35 one. My dad said it had too much torque steer for him..

i paid 20,600 for mine, and sticker for a 6-6 EX-L is 27. so i probably would have been able to get it for around 25k.

It's casted to the block. That's all the new J series, starting with the J32A3 in the newer TL's (04+).
