a modded honda is what it is. You get the stereotype of being a younger kid that worked on his car since high school. Obviously thats not the best car to jump out of when you're working a full time job at a nice place. But getting out of the mod scene is almost impossible since even guys with great jobs still mod their cars. Theres just a difference between modding an old honda, or modding a nicer car. If you drove a modded TL, it wouldnt be looked at the same as driving an old modded civic. You can still mod cars, just mod ones that cost more money. haha

and you could always have both, tuner car for the weekends and the nice newer car for a DD. For me it's gonna be hard to sell the cl, but i think if i do end up getting a newer car in a year or two, i just won't have any use for the cl anymore, so prolly gonna sell it, and take a big hit on depreciation (whether i part out or not) that's why i gotta stop spending now, to cut my losses

Mercedes are quality cars. The biggest drawback with European is the high expense for parts and repairs. I know that Mercedes 190s and c280s go 300k plus miles easy, their straight six engines are rock solid. Too bad they rarely ever put a manual trans in their cars until just recently with the newer 6 speed c series, which are soooo sweet

I'd love to continue building/modding my car but then I dont want to DD it. and I don't see being financialy able to have a nice DD and a weekend toy.

so i made all the cuts to get rid of the about 2 inches from the middle. i taped both peiced on to test fit and decided i dont like the honeycomb holes. so im cooking something up, and its not like kleptos

if you cut that middle pieces bottom bar, i think its gonna look a little wierd. hopefully thats just the picture.

I am SO sick of my interior. Someone on H-T has black RSX seats for $150 because one of them is punctured. It would be a 4 hour drive to get them, but I'm seriously considering it. I could just get them reupholstered. Then I could get the black door panels, and do something custom with my dash

i think if i got a really expensive car...like a g37?! i would just get some volks, coilovers, and HIDs, and maybe a lipkit. that's about it

I love the TLs. My parents have one with a full A-Spec kit, A-Spec springs, 18's, Type-S tails. Their car is a hell of lot nicer than mine.

That is a very tempting deal, I saw it too... but still a 3hr drive for myself as well. But it is for both front and rear it says, that is cheap as hell.

it took us nearly a month to buy the CL, and the SC is looking the same. The seat we had ordered was crushed with the car, the dumbass at the junk yard forgot to take it out. And on top of that, the guy who is actually selling the car (not the mechanic) is not sure if he wants to sell it! the fuckin car has been sitting at the shop for 5 GODDAMN MONTHS! WTF?!
