me and my friend went to North Carolina this weekend, and on our way back last night she got pulled over. we were in Lexington, VA and she was doing 42 in a 25, but there were no signs. she got a ticket, and after we left, we were no more than 100 yards from where we were pulled over and the speed limit changed to 35. she was soooo mad. if she had been going 4mph faster, it would have been reckless driving. and you get raped in VA for that.

i didnt get the ticket. the weird thing was, she was pulled over in fairfax county a couple years ago, and her ticket was a careless driving ticket because she was doing over 80 mph. but nothing came up on her record, neither in VA or in MD (where she lives). the ticket isnt that bad, its $160, so she might just pay it and call it a day. the careless ticket cost her over $500, plus another $500 for the lawyer she brought to court.

A more upscale retail store, not putting any names out there. It's a well known store.

an idea came to mind. wouldn't the best sleeper be one that looks like a ricer? people laugh at ricers, so if you had a fully built f22 with an ugly bodykit/big wing/fart can/phoenix yellow paint, i think it would blow the other people away.

nah. then that would be an embarrassing sleeper. I'd prefer the mostly stock sleeper. I've been contemplating getting a dif set of headlights n tails and some stockers for my car for just that reason lol.

Here are some pics after we slowly drove it up the hill to my driveway.
Then the morning before the tow truck came.
At least its clean.
She's giving me the old lights if they don't fix the broken brackets on them!

i live in a middle class town, where maybe the parents have the range rovers. not the kids. most of the kids who get new cars get new civics, escapes, and the occasional volvo.

Lexus pics today, hopefully. Pops just went out to take a few pics.
unfortunately, car wont be home for at least another week. we ordered a seat for it last week from a junk yard in virginia beach, and we're still waiting for it to come in. the mechanic cant work on it yet because the seat is busted, and its all teh way up, and he cant move it into the shop. once the seat comes in, he'll use the parts from that seat to fix the seat in the car (power seat mechanism busted), then he'll bring it in and do the brakes and some power steering work.

when i used to live in coeur d'alene idaho at the highschool i went to some punk ass rick kid aka prep... got a land rover sport with a strut pakage and 22 inch rims because he had acheved all c's and passed junior year wanted to slash the tires but i liked the truck..

Nah, I got that from Dicorp. I had a thread in the racing section "BMW 325i vs. 3.0 CL" or something. He just got his BMW and wanted to take me on but there is ALWAYS traffic up here. So we cruised up with my friend with the Saab and just went at it on the back roads ouside of loop 1604. Was pretty fun, I still can't stand speeding though...

One of my best friends got one for her 16th birthday. Just a couple weeks ago after we washed the car, a SUV just pulls out of the gas station without looking. Then, 30-0 in 4ft... The airbags didn't deploy because of an error that started flashing up on the dash, she took it to Saab and complained, and they are fixing it right up. We were fine though. Airbags would have been nice but w/e.. Virtualy no crumple zone FTL.. It felt like the frame just took all of the shock.. It's really not that big of an upgrade from a CL though honestly. The respone is terrible when punched and the interior feels so tight and cheapish imo. It's quick I guess but not much quicker than the 3.0 CL.

It's got way more potential that a 3.0CL.
Either way, Im trying to get out of the whole mods scene with my next car. Once im out of college and have a real job i dont want to be driving a lowered Honda.
