GL, i hope your CL isnt loud. when i tried to sell mine for 3k everyone that came to look at it didn't like the fact that it was some what low, and that it was too loud.

Nate, don't expect to get money back for your mods. Modding your car isn't an investment, it's an expense. If I'm looking at Preludes (my affordable dream car), I'm not going to pay any more for one with a loud muffler and some wheels than a bone stock one. If anything, I'm going to buy one that has never been modded.

Your best bet is to put your car back to stock and sell the parts. Again, don't expect to make a profit.

^ it depends on what kind of cars you buy, how old they are, what you buy them for, where you buy them, and how long you keep them. My buddy has started buying a used car every year for a DD and sell it every year and buy another one. He actually makes money from this, because he buys from a different province where the cars are cheaper. He started this because he was fed up with the depreciation of newer GM products, so he's boughten a few luxury imports over the last years and really enjoys them. His last car was a lexus GS, which he did make a few grand profit off of

Lawlz I just found a 1980 datsun 280z for sale which i could prob talk down to 2k. It has 145,000 miles and is from down south, has never seen a nasty new england winter or the rust that ensues. It has two minor body surface rust spots, and i'm thinking of buying, fixing, and selling

i know what his stereo setup is, but still... even with 3 amps, they shouldn't draw >250 amps of current... unless you're absolutely trying to break shit... which he very well may have been trying to do...

oh yea i was trying to break something. i have somewhere around 3500 rms maybe less but its the main fuse at the back battery. it was loud for about 5 min.

i have a friend with a fully modded 4 door teg with jdm front end, roll cage etc..etc..etc... looks pretty sick, and i the look of modded 4 door cars

as much as my budget allowed me. probaly just a GSR swap, GSR swirrlies, F2 supension, LCA's, Si VTEC bumper, etc, etc
thats what holds me back from getting a DC/DB.

i think im the only one in NJ that thinks he sucks and is a douche bag.
