Our friend's Silvia as well. He came in 4th. My friend Mauricio with the Evo came in 2nd. This was the "Kure Motorsports Street Car Challenge".

There were Vipers, Vettes, GT3's, all sorts of beasts. Hopefully JR posts up the pics of those cars.

The yellow Viper was the guy that came in 3rd place. Again the Silvia came in 4th. And that white evo is Mauricio.

Damn, well I'm alright.

Cyclone blue is in desperate need of a paint job on the hood, the front lip, and the rear quarter.

Ive gone from about 10k~ in debt to just over 3k over a span of a year and a half or so. Once all of it is paid off, I'll probably save up for the body work/paintwork that she so desperately needs.. then, ride her until I save enough to put a good downpayment on an FA5 (Civic SI sedan), TW or NHBP with navi, summer tires, lip kit, fogs and Ipod connector

and then unfortunately, its bye bye for Cyclone Blue.

But yea thats whats been up with me. Mostly been lurking and posting in the automotive news forums.

Wow, that's a crazy mix of cars, but what I want to know is how that motorhome in your first pic did. You know those motorhomes, drop a hemi into them and you've got a 10 second car!

so i smelled burning rubber driving down the road today and looked in my mirrors to see if maybe i was throwing rubber or something.. i saw a faint smoke cloud, but nothing like a busted tire..
pulled off the road, checked my tires, nothing..
looked under the hood... belt had ripped off.. tried to push the pulleys, tensioner was seized.
drove right to the shop and got a nice 175 dollar repair

insurance adjuster is supposed to FINALLY come on thursday to check out my fender, which i will then be getting repaired soon, along with a bit of the door.

i've almost totally lost 2nd gear.. sometimes it will let me in there for a few scary seconds, but usually it just revs and skips to third

gonna need a new tire soon and get them all balanced.. cars shouldn't shake like this
shouldve gotten an oil change about 6k miles ago... shouldve gotten it done today at the shop
still holding out on taking care of the cv joints...

lots of other shit on my fuckin list to fix, but the rest is all little stuff.

**Project Status**
Debadging = Failure (bad cracks on outline of emblems)
Repaint windshield wipers = Success
Blackhousing headlights = Starting
Rear light tint = Ordering
Window tint @ 30% = Next month (b-day)
OEM wing = Next month (b-day)

Question tho, would getting the rear light tint look weird if the oem wing light isn't tinted? Regardless, already ordered it. Just wondering what you guys think.

That's how mine is currently, I am tinting my 3rd BL on the wing, because it stands out on my black theme, but it looks fine without it, it sits in so you can hardly see it. Up close you can see the difference

Farther away you can't really tell

So replacing the rear brake pads is much harder than the front. I got the driver side done, but I can't get the bolts off for the passenger side. I ran out of daylight, my dad's in the hospital, and I need to go back to class tomorrow. Not a great week.

So I've been waiting to install my coilovers because I want to replace all my bushings, ect. I've got the hyperflex energy suspension kit on order and want to have it put in this weekend.

i've heard it's a pain in the ass to install and it's best to have a shop do it. Any idea of how much labor will be?

Its DIYable, but i wouldnt suggest it. So many things can go wrong if u dont know what ur doing. Nothing like a compressed spring slipping and catching u in the face or something lol. Very painful. Let a professional with the proper tools (like a spring compressor amongst other things) and knowhow do it if you or a friend do not know what you're doing. Asianspec had friends try to help him install his and they almost killed Danny LOL.

Take your hub else where 972xghost. A press should pop that thing right out. Your hub is off the car correct?
