My position was eliminated, they're moving part of their operations out to California. I'll probably still do some freelance work for them, which will be nice. They were really good to me for the 4 years I worked for them, so I can't really complain, I'm just disappointed.

lol, i knew i'd get for that. they were there from day 1, i never posted pics of the rear end. I can't find a set of stock lights for a decent price. So until then they stay.

I had $4,000 saved up for the CL. All of it was spent on my move to Cali, on tickets (owed them $2100), and insurance twice (got dropped from the first one, and didn't get any money back). I'm bitter because that roll cage was mine! And it was going to be built by the best shop in Texas. I could have been on my next step with the CL already. And I'm bitter because I'm not making as much, and now I was offerred even more in back in Dallas. All I needed was another 10 grand, and I would have been done with this car. I was 40% there....now I have to start over...and I'm pretty upset with myself with deciding to move back so soon. The money sucks. I travel a lot, and I get paid by the hour, not salary like I was here. I travel a lot, because that's just my way of life. A lot of things come up, and I enjoy getting out of the city. So every time I leave Cali, it's costing me money from making. That's the way I see it. I'm seriously going to reconsider my options. I love Cali, but I also love money. I just don't know yet to what extent am I willing to sacrifice one for the other. When I get the actual figures from the offer, I'll think about it hard. This car hasn't seen the next step, and I'm the only one to blame. That's seriously bugging me too.

just got back from my mechanic, yah he works late, but w/e. got my tires balanced but still drives like shit. gonna go get an alignment 2morrow, but im expecting them say i need a camber kit. also dented my down pipe and tore the flex pipe during the winter. ice ftl.

well i've been driving around a brand new, black dodge charger this week, probably until the weekend where i'll hopefully get my car back
driving is a completely different experience in that mammoth..
a much more cushy ride, no doubt, but i miss feeling the road.
cant see shit in there either.. and the cd player is a POS..

So i pulled the stock muffler tips of the whip today, ready to paint 'em (Big fan of spending no money on a project 1st, then trying something different) The were pretty bad, Sanded them down and looked a ton better. I was stoked that I didn't even have to paint em!

Just installed teins, sways etc

Too much squeaking. A search says it's because the Teins are still new. My sways+camber kit comes with polyurethane bushings too. No alignment yet... Stock tires + camber feels weird. I hope it's safe to drive for another day. Getting alignment done tomorrow.

Should I wait a bit before I start getting desperate and adding grease? Mechanic said he used a lot. It'd go away for a bit but come back.


Ah it's fun tho. Scraping your mud guards :|... Tomorrow hopefully install the rest...rear lip + sides if I have time.

Did some work on the 97 today, took off the front and rear lips and wind deflectors. Having some money problems though because of my job situation, I may have to sell one of the two rather than part out... thankfully not both. Ugh... so much I want to get done too.
