Otter boxes are . Probably the best cases for protection. I noticed they don't have them out for the 4G yet, but they're working on it.

Makes the phone considerably more bulky, but I never worry about dropping it or anything like the such.

My graph shows the complete marketing bullshit that the 5 bars represent. Cellphones get a signal anywhere from -113db to -51db that's a 62db range. Now you would think that each bar would represent an equal range of that 62db about 12.5db each but no bullshit marketing comes in to play and the much desired 5th bar in AT&T's "more bars in more places" campaign doesn't equal 1/5th of the range or 12.5db like it should it represents 2/3rds of the range or 40db!!! Then that leaves the other 22db to be split up amongst the other 4 bars. The third bar for example gets just 2db.

This is the bullshit they pulled a few years back when people where not getting the "5 bars" so they just changed how it was calculated and gave the 5 bars almost the entire spectrum. So they duped the public and the people were like "ZOMG, I got 5 bars where I used to only have 3 bars, thank you Steve Jobs I want to suck your dick!! Teh iPhone is amazing!!" Now here they are saying the opposite, OMG I didn't know that the 5th bar took up 2/3rds of the spectrum!!" Whatever that's a bullshit lie and you know it!

In AT&T and Apple's world they want to give everyone A's cause it makes their network and phone look good! So their grading scale is

100-37 A
36-19 B
18-17 C
16-10 D
9-0 F

Kinda hard to fail with grading scale like that!

I'm sure all the other carriers are like this to so you shouldn't trust the bars to give you accurate signal readout. they should switch to the number system but then they can't hide behind that.

my other co worker just went to AT&T store that's located within our building and just ordered his iphone4 2 days ago. he received it this morning.

now what i don't get is.. what are those people waiting in long ass line to get the phone?? why can't they just go to AT&T store to order it?

I can pull the trigger on anything right now, but I have decided to wait for that Samsung phone that's coming out soon. I just hate AT&T.. so iphone4 is out for me.

I've had a few dropped calls cause of the antenna problem. Being left handed I hold the phone with my left hand while I talk and if I'm in a rural area and touch the iPhones g-spot unknowingly then there goes my call. Kinda bullshit, but what do I know I'm a hater.

I haven't decided if I'm going to keep the phone or not. If I took it back what other phone would I get, it's the best phone on the market spec wise. I got it for the screen and the camera and those are great, I don't want to lose those.

 

Serious? The video quality when I used it was quite good.

It wasn't choppy and pretty smooth.

Of course it being a vgA camera, i wasnt expecting high def video..

 

No you don't, you can be on the same wifi network.

Choppy? Maybe your connection was bad, maybe your connection to the outside is limited cause it's a work connection?

FaceTime doesn't connect phone to phone.

It goes from phone to apple server to phone.

 

Which is why I suspect the next iPod touch and iPad will have FaceTime.

you can deposit checks to your account without going to the bank..
basically, you take picture of the depositing check (front and back) and that's it!

i'm not sure exactly what happens behind the server, but you should use something less restrictive connection (ie. home ap)
