One more from the Tulip farm. I was pleasantly surprised when I posted these 2 photos on 500px that they did extremely well.

Hiked up to Rowena crest outside of the Dallas which is in the Columbia river gorge this morning.
Filters: Singh Ray Z Pro LB Neutral Cir Polarizer
Singh Ray 3 stop ND filter
Singh Ray 3 stop reverse ND
Stacked on the Lee foundation kit
Had a really hard time trying to get the flowers sharp becuase it was so damn windy...

finally got around to editing my blood moon pics.
turned out meh IMO, it was cloudy, foggy and lots of light pollution. i was using my 70-200mm lens and had 8.2mp to crop with. These 2 are the best i was able to get during a small but not that much of a break in the clouds.

and the other big one is Mars.

I sold my 35L for the Sigma. I never really thought much of 3rd party lenses, especially with Sigma lottery line up. Once the 50 comes out, you will see a lot of Canon/Nikon 50's for sale. I was never really happy with my 50L.

I don't think anyone was really happy with the 50L. Many got it to work sans the focus shift issue it has. The 85L too damn slow. Both give great images, but have drawbacks they shouldn't for as much as they cost.

spent some time last week with a 85 1.2, my thoughts on it? it's fun to play with and I wouldn't mind owning one. and of course, you gotta open it up - here is a shot at 1.2

Earth-bound misfit
I really like my 50L. It returns gorgeous images. That said, it's my second copy. I returned the first for terrible focus shift problems. I agree that it's unacceptable at that price point. Competition is good!!
