That's how I felt about it. 2am in the dark on something like that is just too sketch. I've seen where a few people have said they can't believe they went up it in the dark with it pouring rain.

I see what you mean with the crossed leading line of the shoreline.

I guess since the leading lines of the pier lead me to the brightest part of the sunset, it still draws my eye in a pleasing manner.

That's what I love about this, everyone sees each image slightly differently.

This is the most fascinating thing I've noticed since I started doing photography...everyone has such varied perceptions of an image...I'm truly intrigued by it.

One shot from my very very short trip to the Palouse. This is from Steptoe butte. What an absolutely beautiful place this is with a very unique landscape. Probably will be revising next month.. I hope..

Filters: Singh Ray Z pro LB Neutral Cir Polarizer stacked with 3 stop grad ND.

I can barely see the pier on the right edge of the image when looking as a whole, I mean it's very far from being the subject of the image. That being said, I do not think it is a factor in the image.

Title: The Palouse Sunrise
Think I only used the Polarizer on this shot I was pretty happy with how it turned out.
This was with the 70-200 @200

When I return to Oahu I want to fly on a Hawaiian Airlines A380. My cousin said they're going to purchase one by 2017. Here is a 747 which I've never flown on. -_-
