where did you get those from? And how much money?

I am iffy about mounting 19s after seeing all the pot holes. rove my car for the first time in a while yesterday and the roads are harsh on it being lower and all. Not I am second guessing myself and mounting 19s with 235/35 tire on there.

got them off ebay. i paid like 500 for the wheels, 160 for shipping(ups ground), and 135 for duty/taxes/brokerage. yeah the potholes are really bad this year. i used to drive a slammed accord year round and it has made me against lowering any car in this city.

Yea the pot holes this year are terrible. I'm going to try and get a claim about my blown tire and curbed wheel.

I really like how the a-spec look. Good buy especially with that price.

yea pot holes are hell this year.

those a-specs are sweet, but they seem to be 7.5" wide for the tsx. TL ones are 1200+

Lol for $200 that sounds like a steal.. Or maybe they are stolen lolol

Does anyone know how much the local Acura dealer charges for a set of 4 TPMS? I completely forgot to get a set and now that the snow is gone, I really need to swap my winter tires asap. If the price is ridiculous, I might just order from a vendor and hope my winter tires hold up until the TPMS arrive.

Yes very true. Although for the next few weeks it would almost be pointless to get the wheels refinished. Need to wait until more of these potholes are covered up. They are everywhere and anywhere. The worst are the ones with puddles in them. You really have no idea how deep they are. I try to avoid them most of the time or slow down, but it blows when you see it at the last second and you're just thinking FUUUUUUUUUUUU as you drive over it.

^ That's what happened to me along 170 st coming from Wmud drive. I saw two consecutive humongous huge gargantuous extra large potholes. I tried to avoid them but there was a truck beside me, I didn't hit the first one but the second one poked my sidewall.

Vincent, if you are looking for 4 TPMS, I bought mine from Ack for 130$ shipped to my house. No other fees.

I doubt that man, refinishing wheels is ridiculous man. Especially if they are painted. 150$ fixing the curb rash per wheel. Then if they are bent which they usually are is gonna be another 70-100 then painting them. It's gonna be more expensive then buying new haha

there is no TSB for cars up here in Canada. Well not on the tranny. I took my car to the dealership when I had the 3rd gear pop out and they didn't do anything about it. I had the warranty too

any of you guys with white TLs interested in some type-s side mirrors with blinkers? A buddy and a member of this site totaled his TL and he had these mirrors on his car. They work perfectly fine but they have to be hard wired into the 04-06 TL so the blinkers work only. Other features are plug and play. Let me know as he doesn't visit this site often. I am gonna ask for the price so shoot me a PM and I will give it to you.

^VERY interested. Could you ask him if he knows how to hook them up on a 06 Base TL?

About the 3rd gear pop, it's very common to Hondas but Honda didn't do any move at all. I remember reading something about this when I was looking to get an 8th gen Si.

on the 06 drivers side is just plug and play. On the passenger side they have to be wired in. It's as simple as tapping a wire. There is a DIY on this site. He didn't wire them in, didn't have time before the crash. I will call him later as he didn't answer my text message and ask him about the price and maybe to come on here and explain the details. It sucks because it's his fault that it happened so I am trying to help the guy out. I might be taking some parts of his car as I just found out last night that my temperature button LEDs burned out so I am gonna try and take his out and replace it with mine before the insurance gets involved

So I got bored and seeing my car on donut tire makes me want to hide the car in the bush. So I mounted the BBS, I think I did my homework pretty good. I love the fitment, no rubbing issues. However, the car is begging to be lowered.

yea love the wheels man. It does beg to be lowered. And it's gonna look so much better because of the negative camber you will have and all, it's just gonna come together.

wphan@ I texted that guy about the a-specs and WOW are they beat up. He was grinding curbs like he was skateboarding on those wheels hahahaha They are definitely not worth ANYTHING. I think he should pay me 200$ to take them off his hands hahaha It would be more expensive fixing these than getting some used volk, work... wheels from black market here and having them shipped to canada.

And edmua6, you need some red center caps on those wheels. They will match your side markers and tails nicely and BBS "needs" red center caps haha

I will call him today after work and maybe tomorrow i will help him take them off the car. Then you and him can work out a price. I can help you install them but i can't wire the passenger side, I don't wanna do anything electrical on anyone's car.

I don't like messing with the electrical stuff. Always scared I will mess something up. There are 3M wire taps that work great for some guys but they didn't wort that well for me because the wires were too thin I think so I didn't have a good experience with them.

I can't really comment on my tpms' arrival because the address that I chose for shipping was my previous address. It took me more than a month trying to find out how can I retrieve the package. LOL He will use USPS and it will have a tracking number but you won't be able to track it because it is just a big envelope. Get it? lol.

I like amber markers for a white car :P

is the power mirror wiring the same color? if so it should be easy because u dont have to find which wire moves the mirror which direction. then speaking of signal in the mirror, your gonna have to tap into front signals or at the signal stat under the steering wheel so u get the signal to blink in the mirror.

255 in the back? Oh yea that makes sense. You sure you won't rub when you lower the car?

Yea. I'm not rubbing right now, so I don't think I will rub knowing that the camber will be negative when it gets lowered. (knock on wood)

you will have to wait and see. What made you get 255 and not 245 tires?
