I might, they had front tint that was previously removed. My old car had tinted Windows and I got hassled a fair bit, but it really stood out in a crowd

I finally got around to putting my acurazine decal on my window. It didn't go on properly One of the letters partly came off when I removed the backing so I had to realign it. It looks a bit off from a distance now. It looks like I'll have to wait for the next Christmas drive to get another one lol. I wonder if it will even last our winter though.

@Arthur - I spotted a grey TL with wheels and tint on Quesnell bridge. It seems like a lot of these "modded" TL's do the basics and leave it at that. Yesterday I spotted a white csx-s down 170st. His rear bumper looked like it scraped something though, needs some repairing.

Lol is it really necessary to get the KP Window Roll-up Module though? How often do you walk away from your car with windows down and need to roll them back up? I saw that DIY a while back but couldn't justify spending money on something I would rarely ever use. It is a neat mechanism though

yea I read that Vincent and watched the video. I washed my car 3 times since you detailed it and I just hosed it down. No brush or anything like that. Still looks good as it never really got dirty. Still getting trades and interests and all but no bites really. Even after I negotiate a price with someone and they agree on it, they don't call back

I would do it if I can trade my car for an suv or a mustang that my parents want so then I would take the 2G back and slam it.

you should pick those up, but you will have to stance that car to pull them off. I think it would look good, VIP for sure. Which specific ones do you want?

Hey I am east of the city and spend most of my time on the south side or sherwood park. I have met myron too and viewed his car. Sadly I couldn't afford it after I had sold mine and bought mine instead. Still no luck with yours myron? It took a while for my WRX to go but it was odd, in one weekend it had like 4 buyers. I think yours will sell very soon. But you should keep it!

Myron, yea I want to pick those up. But just like what you said, I need mad camber to pull those wheels properly. haha.

Vince, haha. I'll probably do that next year, money permitting. I might order the latest PCDs or HFPCs from RV6 this week. They are on sale atm.

yea, the module wasnt hard. you can pretty much install it in 20 mins. my only issue when installing was when one of my taps wasnt on properly giving me grief for an hour since i had to keep putting the door on and off and closing it also to see if it was working.

as for usefulness... to me yes since my kids like to have the window down and i always forget to roll them up when we get to the store so its awesome to just press lock twice and have them roll up instead of putting the key in the ignition. also...if i happens to start raining and the windows are down i dont have to go outside to roll them up

Haha glad you like it. Word of caution with the California duster though. It's quite easy for particles of dirt to get stuck and embedded between the strands on the duster. Once that happens and you continuously drag it across the paint, we have a disaster All it takes is one coarse piece to be stuck near the surface of the duster and it will swirl the crap out of your car. This is the reason I don't use dusters on my car.

A good alternative is to get a couple high quality microfibers and a quick detail spray. Since I assume you like to do wipe downs, this is a safer method for the paint. The quick detailer spray helps clean off accumulated dust or light dirt without the high risk of a duster. Simply spray some of the detailer on a panel and buff off with a microfiber. The spray creates a slippery surface on the paint so that the microfiber can easily glide across without dragging any particles along. Using the microfiber and detail spray is only recommended for a very light cleaning, if the vehicle is quite dirty it's definitely time for a full body wash.

If you do decide to continue along the duster route, I'd recommend you stop after every panel and do a thorough check of the duster. Check the entire thing for visible particles or chunks of dirt. Run your hand over it to make sure it still feels smooth without any abrasives catching on your hand. I'd take extreme caution when you do the side skirts and lower panels of the car. Those areas are always the dirtiest.

All in all, keep that car looking fresh
