You guys have such a better gathering of guys than we do in Calgary.

I'd suggest planning a mid-way meet, maybe in Red Deer. But I would probably be the only guy from Calgary to go haha.

 

I actually worked with a guy that was from Calgary. Has\had a 2006 MT TL. Upgraded the exhaust (ATLP) and we did some races on the Henday. He definitely had some great gains. If I recall his first name is Arvind, not sure if he goes to any of the meets in Calgary.

I agree we should do another meet, maybe we can schedule it for late August or early September? Give lots of time for guys to plan so that we can get a solid turn out!

Red Deer is still kind of far for a meet, if it's the 24th it depends what time.

 

The 24th should work for me. But if we are going to Red Deer, that would require an earlier gathering for sure.

Sold my type s earlier than expected. However I still have the VLED DRL conversion kit in hand. Passenger side started flickering but I've narrowed it down to a bad relay and/or harness. 100% the bulbs work as that was the first thing I tested. Switched the passenger to driver side and it worked. Technically I could just call VLED for warranty since i bought it 2 months ago but alas more work for me. My loss your gain. These aren't the cheap ones with only 1 LED on one side but both sides have 2 LEDS. I bought the kit + relay harness. All in all it was $300+ including shipping. Buy the bulb for $100 and you can purchase a new relay/harness for $50. Save over half off! If you want ill throw in the whole kit since Ill have no use for it. Like I said only the passenger side relay/harness is bad, driver side is working 100%. PM me if you have any questions.

So my car has been acting up recently. First the car would not start when turning the car, it only made a click sound. I cleaned the battery terminals and that seemed to make the problem go away for a day or 2. But today it SOMETIMEs starts, when it doesnt start no noise is made. After a few tries of turning the key it starts, Other times the car starts just fine. Would this be a starter problem? or another problem? I have checked the battery and thats not the case.

Might just have to bite the bullet and take it to acura to do a diagnose to see what the problem is

 

I read all the time on the forums with 2007+ TL's always have problems with the starter. It probably is the starter but to be 100% sure just take it into somewhere to get it checked out.

 

So I went to the dealership. they said they couldn't diagnose the starter as by the time I went, the car was working fine. I went and bought a starter at the dealership for 198$ which is really cheap.

 

So is everyone still good for the meet this sunday at 4pm at Timmies?

Well I'm the noob here. 2007 TL-S. Just traded my last car to a guy on this forum for this Acura. Had a 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT-8. Pretty major step down to the Acura, but overall it is a nice car and I am enjoying it. It is an auto though, and I would much prefer a manual. Anybody want to trade? lol. Seriously though, listing it on Kijiji tonight as a Swap/Trade just to see what kind of offers I get. I always like to switch things up. If anybody knows someone with a manual car who wants to get in to an Auto, it might be a match made in heaven, so send them my way.

 

All the time, I just ignore them and mind my own business. I had some girl in a silver 04 TSX tail me and also some guy in an 07 accord want to race me in Sherwood park tonight.
