Interior Cleaning Recommendations?

Does anyone have any dashboard cleaning tips? I have tried good old water via clean rag with no luck, dash looked worse. I saw on an earlier thread that 6 parts water to one part Woolite works for the steering wheel does anyone have any tips when it comes to the dash?

While I am asking questions concerning car care what do fellow TL owners recommend for the seat leather i.e. soap and water, leather cleaner etc?

Usually a 10:1 APC mixture works well for me in thoroughly cleaning the interior panels and such. You could dilute your APC even further depending on what kind of APC you're using and your preference.

If you want to clean your seats properly, you can purchase some Lexol which is OTC. They sell a leather cleaner and conditioner in separate bottles. Good luck!

with the 3G TL 2004-2008, it is best to use a 6 : 1 water to woolite solution in this procedure:

1. Clean dash with woolite
2. Use dry MF towel and wipe off all residue
3. Clean again with woolite solution
4. Dry again with towel
5. Wipe with damp MF towel
6. Dry with MF towel.

This will help elminate the chemical that causes the faded look.

I don't think Woolite is a fabric softener.....I think it's a gentle detergent. Read the bottle.

men...

Woolite is a gentle cleanser (like Tide but for delicates). Fabric softener is something else all together. You don't want fabric softener on your dash. That would be bad.
