Dude...I thought so...sold my phone on ebay last month...$195, right...I ended up having to pay $6 in paypal fee (still ok at the time) and friggin $17 in ebay fees. If they do that though, we'll all have to find another way to pay for things. 9% is rape.

I put straight amber led bulbs (not switchbacks) in and yes they hyperflash.

That being said if anyone has any .12 or .24 ohm resistors left please let me know, I need one and will gladly pay you for it. Thanks!

$6 for $195 is still 3%.....

I think paypal is going by $amount....so if the amount is greater than say $10, then 3% else 9%, something like that.....that sucks....

When I go to lock my with the key fob, the switch backs do not illuminate. Is there something wrong with them? I purchased the type 2 120 smd switchbacks off eBay. anyone else have this problem??

Put your factory bulb back in one of them (you can get to it with a flathead and just cutting the wheel to one side) and see if it blinks normally. If it does, then it may be a problem with your bulb. If it doesn't, it may be a problem with your soldering/relay.

J.

The lights should blink like normal otherwise. What about all the other functionality? Does that all work properly?

The switchbacks work great. They change to amber when blinker is applied and change back to white with no problem. But when I'm leaving my car and I go to lock my doors the front turn signals don't flash to show that the car is lock. But with the switchbacks in they don't blink when I lock the doors.

Does your rear tail lights and license plate lights flash when you hit the car lock button on the remote?

If they DO NOT... than your trunk or hood might not be closed all the way

Everything else lights up as it should. They all blink once. I can see the switchbacks try to illuminate (barely).

Yo Swoosh, good thing I sent you that extra buck

Here's part of an email I got back from Fry's after ordering/canceling my resistors:
Due to overwhelming demand or insufficient availability from our supplier(s) we are unable to fulfill your entire order.

Hahaha

I finally did this mod tonight with two .12 ohm resistors in series. No problems what so ever. I can see how the turn signal relay can be hard to get out. However it wasn't so bad for me. I used 1 slotted screw driver and an Irwin groove lock plier and pulled it right out.

I have enough extra resistors for 4 people so shoot me a msg if you want some. Also for anyone not comfortable with going the resistor route I have the two 4 ohm 100 watt load resistors that I was using before this mod that I'm now looking to get rid of.

Btw this is the first time in quite a while that I've had a chance to mod my car or give it attention at all and.... IT FELT GOOD!!!!

I would suggest just waiting for the rears to show up to solder in the .24. That thing is a PITA to get out of the socket.

I think, as mentioned earlier, .24 will work for just front ones as well. that is what i am doing since i am going to get rear ones later on!

if we get baclup led, does that make any difference to resistor?

Are these the 0.24ohm resistors we need to prevent hyperflashing when installing both front and rear leds? I have a 0.12ohm resistor in right now since I just have the front switchbacks but plan on getting rear led turn signals.

Wow! 50 for only $3.

You can easily sell those for $1-$2 each lol and make your money back after selling just 2 or 3.
