Sorry i missed it but had lots of fun ...thanks a lot beez (def owe ya) that's the only kind of race I'm ever interested in watching on TV (still never figured out where to start on being a driver? Lol & seriously; race school maybe?)... & made it early thanks to DefMunkie...sorry we never meet up; we were around everywhere... I don't think I can post pics on here with my tablet &I think my laptop blocked Azine?...but I'll post on YouTube or something or lmk if you want me to send you pics don't want to just randomly flood you phone with pics...

We'll meet up soon! It's a big track and with a 6 hour endurance you can catch the race from a lot of vantage points! Glad you came out early, lots of activites in the morning! I got to sit in the #3 C6R vette and chat it up with Tommy Milner and Magnusson!
You want to learn how race? Come join us at Autocross and lets go Karting!! Once you've got a grasp on those then we'll start working on HPDE's.

Ya I'm serious about racing I'll quit my decent paying day job lol... I've loved cars ever since I knew what one was...I always dreamed of flying a jet so maybe cars the the second best thing....I've had 5 cars in 4 years until I got my TL none totaled; but that's why I got it bcz it will last....but ya I'm down for k1 probably never been there bcz I subconsciously knew I would have spent way to much $ at that place lol (I've seen it in other states before I've seen it here)...there's supposed to be another good one up IH10 no kids can race?...

K1 is a pretty fun place to get into Karting! Alamo Karts up I10 is a little more serious with actual rotarex gas karts (and more pricey).
I just buy my races at K1 in bulk, so each race comes out $10 instead of $20. It's less than 10 minutes from my house so just let me know when your heading out there! They usually do GP races the 1st Sunday of every month. $50 for 3 sessions; 2 Sessions @ 14 laps each for qualifying and practice, followed by 1 session @ 16 laps for a race and a trophy.
I'll let you know when the next Autocross is. Mid October I think at Retama, your more than welcome to get a ride in the Vette. At Retama your Lowered TL should be fine. There is very minimal abuse on your car during autocross. If you spin there is plenty of runoff!!
A few of my friends and I are working on running a 24 hours endurance race. Either LeMons or Chump car series next year for fun. Your welcome to join us if you want to to learn how to race in a very cheap and fun grassroots environment.
