'Official SAN ANTONIO thread'
Sorry, i couldnt get out of our plans yesterday. Im free all next sat so you pick the start time and ill be there. Same thing for the meet, late works. That will give us a few more hours to finish up also.
? Just early maybe be here by atleast 9am?...I'm sure it will take us Ann hour too get setup...you probably should bring a set of jack stands & a jack I'm sure we'll need our own...I just bought a torque wrench for smaller bolts we'll need to rent big one from AutoZone...were gonna need a 1/2in drive breaker bar w longimpact rated extension & impact socket for crank bolt (I replaced my pulley myself I know lol)...I bought & returned those last time?...we should come up w/a plan of attack like doing both cars at the same time...I really just have basic hands tools & sockets but was thinking about buying a compressor & impact set?...
Shit, earlier works for me if you're down. I'm up at 5:30 everyday, its a curse
I've got stands, jack and basic tools that ill bring. Simultaneously sounds like a better idea. If you want to buy that stuff then that's cool. Ill throw you some $ for using it. We can always rent that stuff but again that's your call.
We can make the meet

Yard House is at La Cantera Mall.
We can park near the back and should have plenty of spots. They have 50+ beers on tap if I'm not mistaken.
You're invited to both.
It is this Saturday at 7:30-8:00 P.M.
Debating on the place at the moment. Russel is leaving from SA, and may not be as frequent to AZ meets anymore.
Saturday ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ DO IT

Yard House...yummy!
Hope we can get enough room for all of us as they usually are packed on the weekends.
Be good to see some out of towners coming in. Maybe the last I see you guys for a long time.

Been there its a pretty nice restaurant...
lol ...
I'll try to make it out to Yard house this Saturday. It will be great to meet some other TL owners around here.
I'm doing my first ever Autocross in the TL this Sunday...Should be interesting throwing this 4,000 lbs boat around the sea of cones.

Any rec's on starting tire pressure? I was thinking 38psi then backing down from there.
I just want a stiffer sidewall so I don't role to much rubber of the wheel.
I'm not expecting anything near corvette speeds. However I think it would be fun to trail brake around corners in a stock sedan and get to know some of the cars habits

Honestly, I didn't mess with mine when I ran it and left it around 35 all around. My only issue I had with the car was the auto transmission not holding gears which got on my nerves. LOL!
Once you learn to get on the gas in the turns or the slalom more, it will make you faster and the car will want to rotate more due to the SH-AWD system.

guess what wifi connection IM logged into
SA International Airport
I'm flying to Colorado today
I'm not sure when I'm coming back... My flight only shows to there & my hotel shows reserved for 5 & paid for 3?... Defiantly don't think I'm gonna make the service for Saturday Beezle
but may be back in time for the meet?... I know what I have to do there just might take me more than one day to do it... But Beezle if you want to tentatively plan for Sunday I may be good for that?...I'll see about an early flight back for Saturday

Seems like everyone is backing and have plans or not 100% sure if they're going.
For this to work, I'd need near certainty that x is coming. Would need to reserve a table at the Yard House ASAP.
Do you all want to do this meet Saturday or at another time?

If we can delay another week might be better. I am pretty sick right now so I am unsure how well I will be by then.
Also congrats to Champ for now taking over the SA chapter. Wish I could have kept it longer but due to personal issues I am unable to do it.
