Debating if I should clean my car.

There doing some sort of construction in front of my housing and they love to drop dirt all over the roads. So if I clean my car and head home for a shower and head out, my car would be all dirt anyways. :/

 

I am gong to the Hand car wash to have them wash and clean my car before I head over there. Probably getting there around 5:00pm. They are off Dezavala and i-10 and do it all by hand. Only place I trust to touch my car.

I don't trust them. The first time they did a good job then the second time my car was all scratched

 

If you want something done right do it yourself? I hand wash my car myself for $2 everytime $1 for rinse & presoak wash with micro f sponge then $1 for soap & rinse screw that foam brush thing... I'm coming in from corpus tomorrow do ill be washing my bugs off. ..

 

I always do my car myself. I use to detail cars for that matter. But my shoulder will not allow me to clean my car this time. So I will have to use the hand car wash for now.

 

My schedule just opened up so it looks like I will be able to join up with you guys today. Wow, been a while.

Yep, wife and daughter told me yesterday they have an appointment for this afternoon (some spa place), so I'm freed up!

We will be the only two 4G for now. I been doing car things this morning from Discount Tire getting the MDX tires road force balanced to me taking my car there too and having them get Michelin to buy back the stock OEM tires and paying extra to get the Pilot Super Sport tires mounted on the wheels. Woot. Be Monday for that. The stock mxm4s are just crap and never would stay balanced well.

 

Similar errands for me too. This morning took the car in for B12 service (oil, filters, tires-rotation & balance). Then tried to do some yard work around the house (too dang hot!).

 

Sorry didn't make it I had the car clean and everything. Is there a meet afterwords ?

Wanted to announce there will be a japanese car meet at Concours Auto Salon in October sometime. I was asked to have only upscale rides show and not kids in rice burners and anyone who will try to do burn outs, etc.

No date or time has been decided on, but it will be sometime in October. I will keep everyone posted. If this is the weekend my family comes into town, I will be unable to make it. I would like to see a strong showing from the Acura guys on this!
