Bring your two way radios guys!!! We will discuss what channel at Buckee's to use so we can all communicate while driving and have some fun. I have a big ham radio with an antenna I will put on my car (can reach 20+ miles) for two ways but for pictures that antenna will go down in the trunk.

San Antonio members, where do you all take your rides for repair? I need the timing belt done and a few replacements such as spark plugs?

I know foreign affairs in schertz, but anyone know who can do the work here in town at a reasonable price. Gun Acura charges me $1,200 for parts and labor.

 

Try Real Tech Collision. Family owned and Johnny the owner/mechanic is a real nice guy. They charge like $60-70 an hour compared to $125 through Acura.

 

Talk to R&N Garage off Thousand Oaks. Always take my cars to him and he is usually half the cost of a dealer and it's family owned. The owner actually works on your cars and his name is Rob. Said Russell referred you and he will take care of you. I recommend getting the oem parts kit though from the vendor on here as a package and then taking it.

my front bumper is coming off I think someone rear me and now the bumper is worse

getting full type-s front with fogs and rear type-s lip soon (hopefully).

 

I need to do my timing also I have all the oem parts but kinda planned to do it myself unless maybe someonee knows of a place around 3 or 4 hundred?..

Ended up going custom catback?! Magnaflow 18in resonator ~ 2.5in regular piping ~ 2.5 in to 2.5 out Y ~ 2.5 regular piping ~ two borla mufflers w/ 4in borla tips


Pros: looks nice just installed rear types a spec~ got it all done/custom bends at Midas for $205 even (piping;welding;bending)~ &no rasp

Ok the Cons: F***********************NG!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOUD!!!!!!! & drone I guess kinda stays waaaaa before shifting think I could use some more back pressure...

My thoughts are to go back tomorrow and CUSS them out!!!


Lol just kidding; imna go back; tomorrow & have them install my oem mid muffler in line... Hopefully that will be the magical fix otherwise I payed alot to mess up my car? Any one have any idea what I can add to silence it... I'll try to get some pics up or atleast a link to my album intro add them... Someone please help!...

i already have a mangnaflow resonator? those are only for rasp though...when i added it to my original setup when i first got my pcd's it did nothing to sound/tone just the tin can sound at around 3500rpm i added some kinda bullet style silencer today that help fairly significantly but its still pretty loud?... its not loud at WOT? just kinda everywhere else?...atleast its tolerable now and people say they like it &its not bad but i dont tl's should be loud at all...
