I have to use my car for the job I have now have driven to Houston a couple times as well...but has its perks flew to Cali to work over the weekend by LA... Been to NYC; SF CA; ATL; DEN CO etc...all more than once except ATL...I'm a lead IT installation technician low voltage Voice & Data (surveillance; computers; phones/wiring) troubleshoot; installation; maintenance ...

thanks guys, I picked up a 07 type s in cbp. So far I have window visors on it and the front and rear lip are sitting at gillman till sat.

Probably not. Have to be at Acura for my a1 service at 8:15. My only day I could do it and then at 11 I have to be meeting a few elsewhere for lunch. Family friends. If I can if time permits I may drive through. But I can't stop really.

I feel like I got new toys and can't wait to play..... . Hope BJ knows how to do the alignment with the new camber and toe stuff in the back.

There's a yellow building next to the Valero off I35 & o'connor I think I paid like $65 for front & back but are usually a rip off for everything else there's another place named Cordova down the street on nacodoches & they're usually fair... Im Jeremy nice to meet ya ...

 

Yes, I just had mine done by a friend. Firestone off Broadway and Hildebrand downtown. Justin is his name, only talk to him. Say Russell with the Acura TL told you to call. I got lifetime warranty, and got a on the money alignment. He can do lowered cars as well as he made some ramps. He drives a lowered 240 with a sr20det swap and is into cars as well.

 

Car lowered, and spacers installed. Had my rear wheel wells lips bent in 45 degrees so no rubbing there but I got an issue with a tab in the rear that holds the bumper and fender together that I am hitting. Not sure what to do with that but I need to do something soon.

I plan to lower it a hair more once I fix the rubbing issue I have with a tab in the rears....not sure what I am going to do with that yet. I had the fender lip bent up and it's not the issue, but a tab that the fender and bumper attach too each other on with a screw. Ugh.

I went to Firestone off Hildebrand and Broadway. Justin is the guy I know personally and he did my car. Got lifetime alignment while Finsanto doesn't have lifetime. He has a lowered sr20det 240sx and knows how to adjust suspensions and lower cars properly while the guy at Fins wasn't sure how to adjust my parts when I questioned it.


Okay, so I went at those brackets.

I grinded the hole towards the back of the car so I could slide the white clip back more, then screwed the screw back into it. I then cut an angle cut / off the clamps so they went in pretty far. This SOLVED IT!

So now I lowered it another 1/4" in the back and it looks better. What do you guys think of the drop? Good or do I need to adjust it more?

 

I think it looks good; I don't believe a stock tire should tuck....I think lowering just makes a car look like it should be unless you go extreme i guess...
