I might be able to make it to the meet. I might have to do some lying to make it though...no way in hell I can make it out there with my parents knowing...way too far. We'll see what I can do, if I can end up following Ethan there, things might work out, and I can just say it is at Ethan's...

I would goto Discount tire. the one off NW Highway and 75. Look for a kid named Danny.
As far as powdercoating, a friend I used to work with at Raytheon owned a company called Quality powder coating. But him and the co owner crashed their airplane off the coast of Florida last year. He was a good man.

Well, here's what happened, the amp wouldn't turn on when I got in my car in Ethan's driveway, and I though possibly the connection got loose. Then I move the amp and found the power cord still connected, so I was like it must be a fuse. I go to Car Toys and the guy comes out and looks at it and says the 2 fuses in the amp (2 25A's) were blown. He go gets 2 more and replaces them. The amp turns on, and we test everything. The sub hit twice then died and the amp was still on. So the guy says it is Easter and he has to work on it tomorrow (despite nobody being there except employees and me and they had 11-5). I say ok, and they put me in for 5 tomorrow after school. Then I leave. At this point, the sub would hit beats for about 10 seconds after the car received electricity. Then my brother (who knows a little about subs and amps) touched some wires and plugged and unplugged the sub from the amp. Then we plug it back in and the amp won't turn on. So I take out the 2 fuse Car Toys changed and they looked fine. So idk what the problem is, maybe Brian can help me b/c he knows a lot? Anybody with ideas?

Ya, I will prolly follow Ethan and everything will be a-okay.
Anyways, I took the sub in yesterday and they said the sub was blown, so it was causing the fuses to blow. They said why the sub was like that was b/c it is a 4 ohm (amp) to 4 ohm (sub) resistance and the sub had dropped to 1.5 ohm, which can happen over time of excessively pushing it. All is well though, they replaced my sub for free, gave me 5 new 50A fuses for free and replace the one in the wiring (50A fuses are the ones near the battery). All went well, I like the guys at Car Toys, really nice and do a good job.
Rick-can you email me all the pic you took of my car, the internet sucks here and the only one in the thread is half-grey. My email is skateboarder882@gmail.com (lol I don't skate anymore, but when I made it I did)

Well, you guys know I want to keep the Acura, but seeing as the battery just fucking died AGAIN, it's getting very hard. Now I'm out work for the day, & I'm gonna bet the dealer will tell me it's the intake or bluetooth device again. I'm not paying for service fees if it's the latter; they were supposed to fix that shit last time.

Ouch...Something is draining that battery....You sure you dont have any lights or anything that are sticking on? Good way to test it is to go into a dark ass room and see if any accessories are hanging on. But again bring it back and see whats up. I wouldnt mind taking a look at it...But in general Acura batteries are shit lol. Get you one from like wal mart haha.

DMD did, but Bob was involved and really didn't do much to resolve the problem and never returned my calls, and I've been dealing with him for years. The end result was a major oil leak, overheated cooling system and who knows . . . potentially some engine damage down the road. Eventually a radiator hose blew . . who knows what else will come of their screw up. It was one of those freak dealer mechanic screw ups that could have happened to anyone, but in the end they didn't make it right . . . didn't even try.

Ya, I understand. That's why the mom gives me crap about it. She's like, "all of them are too old for you, all they do is smoke and drink and cuss" and I'm like so, I don't give a damn. She then tells me, me saying damn is due too my older friends...which is not true at all.

So you're telling me that they fucked your car up....Bob knew about this.....acknowleged that he knew about it......and did nothing about it?
Im sorry Mark. For what that man has done for me I find that hard to swallow.
I guess some things are just out of his hands. Sorry to hear about that
