What's up AZ Members! I haven't been on here in a while and I've always wanted to meet with other AZ members, but never had the chance. Been having my 04 TL since 07 and never done much. I would meet at the Tilted Kilt (not far from me) but I just had a flat and tire won't be in for about 2 days. I am down to meet at the car wash in Plano if people are still up for that one, or whatever is on the 13th.

paintless dent repair
Anybody in dallas do paintless dent repair or know of anyone? I got caught in the 3 storms last bight and got some pretty crappy hail damage. Im down for the meet sunday if I can get this one huge dent fixed on my hood

I heard there was some pretty bad hail that rolled through yesterday. Sorry you got hit.

The only place I know of (that I got my hail damage fixed 2 years ago) wasn't a great place and took forever. I wouldn't recommend it.

Sucks. I know what it's like.

A few years ago when my car got pummeled, I, along with another local TLer used this dude http://www.yelp.com/biz/dallas-paint...repair-addison. Great guy, great work, puts some change back in your pocket. Depending on his workload it could day a couple days or a few weeks. Back then when a massive storm pummeled DFW it took 1-2 weeks to get my car back.

No way you will get that fixed by Sunday.

whatever you do... DO NOT use paintless dent repair. The process slighlty separates the paint from the body and after a couple of years a bubble starts to form and causes the paint to bubble and peel.

New clutch going on the GTI. Apparently 400hp is a bit much for the wimpy stock clutch

I got hit with some hail too. haven't washed my car yet to see how bad it is. I just gpt scheduled a meeting for work next sunday at 6pm the 13th at 6pm, the time I wanted to meet up. Does everyone wanna keep that time or move the meet till earlier in the day, maybe around noon?

I got quoted $279 from Dallas window tint to remove my current tint and reinstall darker tint. Lifetime Warranty. It's going to be $300+ after taxes.

Still awaiting for a reply from Pro Tint in Plano.

Do you know anyone Travis?

Have you tried Tritek Window Tinting in Garland. I know the owner maybe he can do it cheaper.

I suppose I can try asking them. I just remember reading a few posts of people saying tritek went from reasonably priced to overkill expensive. Someone said they paid $600?

Also looking at their Web page you see nothing but exotic cars so I assumed they were going to be expensive

He's going to need an appointment with David. He's always been busy with a lot of clients when I've considered having my tint re-done.

His prices have raised compared to the days when Jotech was next door, but it's been justified by his higher end clientele he's received.

Does anyone have any coilpacks that are working they are willing to part with for cheap?
I have one or two that are giving me problems and am trying for a cheap fix before I trade this car, sometime in the next month.
