Make her learn manual and everything else will be easy! I was actually supporting your claim Ethan just pointing out why they would need a paddle shift other than it being quicker. Drive a quick ratio rack car at speed...It is not fun and take concentration. Easy to see in F1 cars with the evolution from the H pattern to the paddle. The less you have to do the better and more concentration you can push the vehicle... Still love the H pattern boxes though. Won't own an auto unless I have to such as a diesel truck gotta keep it in boost when towing!
Are the cars faster than the ones Senna drove? Im mean twin turbo V-10's and he was one handing the steering wheel. Not saying its safe, but I think Senna if he owned a car would rather it be a stick. Remember that video of him driving that NSX? His heeltoe footwork?

Not sure yet..its only been with us for 24 hours. It was my first acura since my 2003 TL-S. Feels good. Shopping for a 91-95 coupe too. Want a small stable of classic Acuras. I think the price is going to start to rise on these soon.

But in all my cars, Miata, Lotus and GTI they're manuals because Karen and I love driving manuals. If Im racing someone in my GTI and Im faster but they stay just ahead of me because their right finger hits a little paddle I see that as an unfair advantage because all they're doing is mashing the gas and hitting a button.

If that's unfair though, I hope you don't run into any sandbaggers out there. Run what you brung.

Saw that one on CL I believe, nice ride looks to be in good shape. Are you on acuralegend.org yet? First thing I would recommend is cleaning out the EGR tube, which is the main cause of head gasket failure. A sixxer 94-95 LS coupe would look nice in your stable.

The fair is not expensive unless u let it be. Go in, eat some pricey corn dogs, check out the cars, play a few games if your into that, check out the exhibits, win a teddy bear... lol its all up to you how much you spend. I never spend over like 50 bucks. I always ride the dart train over there tho, car is too low and too much traffic, drops you off right at the entrance.

I hear about you on the money pit man, Ive spent around 5k in the last 3 months in mods to the TL. 1k was in headlight bulbs and light parts alone... that's not including my second set of tails and the price of modding my current tails. Should have just bought some VIP modulars and said f-it to the rest of my mods
An extremely reputable shop that bags cars just rolled my fenders and ruined one, so no need for one here. When I get my new wheels im going to roll them more and run more camber, at -5.5 now, but them 10.5-11's gotta fit somehow :gheylaugh:

If any of you guys haven't done interior led conversions, and plan to, PLEASE let me know! I'm horrible with electrical type mods and would love to learn first hand. I'm in Arlington =D

I take it that you need help doing interior lights? Lemme know man, electrical is my game!
#9876
Yeah. The most experience I've had with electrical type stuff/wiring was replacing a radio on a 90 accord. Lol I literally know close to nothing when it comes to adding resistors and what not. Other than from what I learned reading the DIY for it lol.

Are you talking about interior dome lights and door lights? Those are pretty simple and don't require any electrical knowledge lol. If you can replace a light bulb in your house than you can do it.
Or are you talking about converting the hvac and radio control buttons to leds? That requires a bit more work removing the pieces.
