No go here as well. Was gonna go down there for Houston C&C, but they're still reeling from the previous issues that canceled last month. So, will be staying in D-town for A-kon.

I'm in N. Ft. Worth, close to Keller. He's pretty much in Mesquite.

On a positive note...I am glad my motor is still doing good after 186,000 miles. Just for the hell of it and to give the supra guys a baseline I got peer pressured to throw my car on the dyno....made 249.81hp and 217.85tq on the last pull...Pretty impressed with the torque curve though...or lack of. Mods are RV6 V3 Jpipe, Comptech cat back w/mid muffler, Modified Injen CAI w/6in Velocity stack, and a couple p2r phenolic gasket for the intake manifold and one off the throttle body. Pretty hot day so it impressed me quite a bit.

pretty good... I have the same mods as you but v3 pcd with hondata tune and barely made 230whp 190tq. I'm a automatic though.

Sometimes I wish I never spent money on performance mods

Harmonic Balancer went out on the Wife’s 96 2.5 TL. Part is almost $400 and the Labor is almost $400. What a pain. Good part of the issue is I have located the part for $170 shipping in from Florida and North Dallas Imports is going to do her timing belt and replace it while they are in there, for free. Whole thing will still cost me about $800 but that will be Timing Belt, Water Pump, works, and Balancer replacement all for the price of just the part and install normally.

Are you talking about a specific/local meet or an acura meet?

How about a meet at your shop? Then you can be in two places at once - we can come and chill, and you can show us around your shop and maybe get some future customers! Lol.

NDI did my motor swap, good call. I was very pleased with their services and pricing.

Well as some of you already know, I had a shop lined up but my business deal was getting shady so I got out before I did a bad deal with a friend involving $$. I work at an NTB off forrest/75(nothing special...yet). I have quite a few ppl bringing their cars in for work. Those who have dealt with me know the kind of work I do. Prob best to do it elsewhere for the time being, lots of firing, hiring, cleaning, remodeling, its quite a disaster of a shop haha. How about the gas monkey bar and grill. Always wanted to check that place out

Just got these bad boys. I'm the lone car modder in my group so I don't have any connections in the auto world. Is there anyone or any shop around the arlington/Mansfield area you would take your car to that could install these for me?Name: 20140619_201116.jpg

Oh shoot, I didn't know that! Guess I haven't been keeping up with your business plans as well as I thought... I'd love to get my adjustable ball joints installed, and I'd rather it be by somebody who knows their way around a TL! Hope you keep going after your goal!

That place sounds familiar, but I can't put my finger as to why... Let's get something going soon! Time for me to meet the DFW people!

NBP_BALLER is who i would talk to in regards to getting that done.

I installed my ISC coilovers but it was a bit of pain doing it solo, it's not as difficult just time consuming

Putting coilovers on a TL isn't the easiest thing, not crazy hard, but the back kind of piss me off that you have to take everything apart to get the assembly in/out in the rear. Looks like those babies are used. What kind? You make sure they aren't blown? The one on the left looks like its leaking.

I've been one of the fortunate ones running function & form (HT SPEC TYPE 1) on my TL for almost 3 years now.

Everyone else has had problems with theirs within the 1st year

These only have 3k miles on them so hopefully they last for a while. I'm just hoping I can someone to install them or a reasonably priced shop. If I had any tools whatsoever they would be on already!!

Your looking at 3.8 hrs to install, fronts 1.4, rear 2.4. Thats book time for your 2003 CL-S. A typical shop is going to run you around $100 an hour. PM me and we can talk prices.
