Energy suspension? I dont think prothane makes anything for our car.

Mark: I thought you gave up on that search a while back? I could have helped you locate one lol. Its expensive now but think of the savings later! lol.

No, I was checking all the various forums, ebay, amazon, salvage yards even looked at getting a new one as the used prices were around $1,800. Then another $2,500 or more for all the extras. I was hoping a deal would happen and I'd get some money to justify it, but alas it was not to be. Anyway, at the current rate of failure it'll last less than 30k miles.

Oh, the only upside is that I get to make a run at breaking in to the low 13s at the track.

Well, true N/A I'm shooting for high 13s with my current mods. But there are more on the long range radar. Here's quick peek at where things stand.

02 WDP TLS Black Interior w/ Black Grill Inserts & Cleared Headlights
**1/4mile 14.46 @96.07MPH (14.22 @97.69 Density Altitude Corrected);
(45-70mph test - 3.5 secs) 17x7 Konig Appeals SMF – 18.2lbs each
P225/45ZR-17 Sumitomo HRT AS P01- (just got T/A drag radials for track)
CT Icebox, Custom RamAir, CT Sways & Springs, Illumina Struts,
SP Performance Diamond Slotted Rotors, Hawk HPS brake pads, braided
SS brake lines, SPC adjustable front ball joints and rear control arms.
3nd Gen Innovative Motor Mounts – Front (w/black bushings) & Side Only
Bored out Intake & TBs, Mugen Cooling & Thermoblok Mods
Ceramic Coated XS Headers & Random-Tech Hiflow CAT, Custom 2.5”
CAT Back exhaust with Vibrant 1145 Mufflers,
Tranny #4 Installed 1.31.2011, Miltec-1

Note** (1/4 mile time was before ceramic headers, Hi-flow CAT, Custom 2.5” Exhaust,
Vibrant Performance Mufflers, IMMs, Full Bored out Intake & TBs; and it was not with the drag radials.)

Future Mods will be made until it runs 13 sec ¼ mile times.
Custom Aluminum Intake, UR Pullies, PR2 intake mods
And lastly a 3.5 stroker conversion and maybe 6 speed swap.

I think a 6spd swap is really going to do wonders on your setup.

With DR's I think you'll definitely break into the 13's on a good run. Keep us updated! You might be able to swing a 235 on those wheels as well.

The 225s rub, so when I do the next major power mods I'll have to plan on getting wider rims with a little more inset and roll the fenders.

Dude, I am looking forward to this. Had a few friends ask me tonight to come with them to Austin to shoot at CCM9, & told them I already had plans to do a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

@Shawn, I will gladly take some pics of your TL.

Let's see . . got the new rear struts, rear adjustable control arms, rotors and pads installed this afternoon. Now the goal to get that tranny bolted up tomorrow. Then I can start putting everything else back together . . and hope I don't have any leftover parts or bolts.

Pronto Muffler Shop, but I'm not a 100% on the mandrel bends, you might wanna call and ask them. They do a really good job though...good pricing too.

Nothing crazy, got a pair of Magnaflows I want some flanges welded to so I can bolt up to the factory Y-Pipe. Was going to have the whole exhaust re-done, but I think I'm almost done throwing money into my car.
