Bad news guys. Went over all my bills last night.

Fixing that TL plus putting new tires on Karens Saab set me back....way back.

I cant afford to risk going to Austin right now. Just too close to the Holidays.

Would you be up for a photoshoot on that day?

I'm not trying to sound like a bandwagon-er, but money's tight on my end as well & I'll be in the red after that weekend.

Well . . . not looking like a 6sp is in my future. Not many out there and they're pricey. Found an automatic out of an 07 and I'm told those cases are much better than the older ones. Planning on checking it out later this week to see if the case bolts match up. Was told by an AcuraZiner that Acura changed the cases mid production year. If it matches and the price is good I'll be running with it. A 6spd sounded fun, but it's too much money right now.

^Thanks Rick. It was good seeing you tonight man. It's been a while.

And Ethan can you add "updated pg. 3" to this thread? https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/finally-happy-new-rims-again-795850/

No mods look at it anymore...

Same here, bro.

Fun meet. Even saw a yellow Elise there, but the guy obviously couldn't drive it like Ethan yet.

Nah, I found one for $1,800 . . add all the needed parts and it came up more than $2,500 . . . the 07 auto tranny I'm going to check out is $1,000 and includes the torque converter. With funds being what they are it's hard to beat that . . . maybe when business picks up and I blow another one I'll definately go 6spd.

Thanks anyway.

PS: At least I can still pursue my goal of a 13 sec automatic TL

My bad, I said that with the intentions that you would have your private shoot, and some other time that weekend he could do mine, or he could shoot yours then mine right after...I said it incorrectly.

Basically...Rick can you do a private shoot of my car seperately from Ethans whenever you can?

This is the best route for me. Just find a nice spot. I grow tired of my friends picking parking lots or the lake.

A friend's 350Z runs them & they've been doing a pretty good job for him. Then again, he's running a BBK on his car.

Heard nothing but good things about them, though.

What about somewhere in downtown? Like Victory Park if possible? I'm not too familiar with the area, like you guys.

Sure thing.

Gonna need a 2nd driver, though. The shot to Peter's was pure luck.

Victory Park wouldn't be bad, just find a location we can use. Some of the businesses down there don't seem to like people on their lots without permission.

well . . got the tranny pulled this afternoon. Having done it once now this time around it only took me just over 5 1/2 hours. Going to look at the 07 tranny tomorrow . . . hope it works, I'm ready to drive it again.
