Hey Ethan, I've been looking over the Driver's Edge training & you're right, it usually is a 2-day event w/ driver sign-in at 7AM & mandatory meeting at 7:30 (they recommend first timers attend a 6:30PM meeting on Friday beforehand; you'll get some extra time the next day.

On the helmets, they require Snell SA, or MA 2000 or beyond. But, they offer rentals for $20 for the whole weekend.
The next events are Oct. 23-24 & Dec. 4-5 at MSR & Nov. 13-14 at Texas World Speedway.

If you're serious about this, give me a good heads up & I'll take off for it & try to attend it with you.

Well apparently.. i didnt get to clear out my headlights due to jin getting wasted last night.. also i had to go to work at 2:20pm.. but the cool thing about it is that i got paid 8 hours while working 4 hours weee.

depending on how much hw i have, i would clear it out during this whole week.
might as well do yours nelson but the question is, do you trust me with your headlights? lol

Apex Driving is a one day if the 2 day is a tough time commit.

Both require the same equipment, etc and both have rental helmets (You wear a head sock)

Apex fills up fast though, & I can't find anything beyond an October class that's already filled.

Just depends on what you want. $175 & up for 1 day of Apex or $295 for 2 days w/ DE.
